I would say it depends whether you are a small or big 32. If you are the small variety I would go for the 32 as 811's do stretch out quite a bit. Also worth taking into consideration is the size of your thighs - if they are quite large I would suggest going for the 33's. Hope that helps...

I would say get the next size down. These look quite loose on you and if they are one-wash they wont shrink down. If anything they wil stretch making them even looser - depends how often you plan on washing them though. Don't worry about them being tight at the start - they will loosen out.

tweedles - those are superb. I can see them turning into something like 2000db's old pair. Are they really that dark in real llife? I can't believe how much contrast there is!

would you say BiG's measurements for the 811s are pretty accurate?
the size chart i got from zipangutreasures has the waist measurements off by an inch or so
Yeah I went with the BiG size chart and it seemed to be pretty much on the money.

Did a few pics of the eternals this afternoon - now just over 9 months old. I've been putting in some pretty good wear recently and they're finaly starting to fade a quicker!
N.B. - yes they are photo-shopped but the contrast is true

Wow. Some great eternals are starting to take shape!
chrisj - I agree with the point about holding off untilt the next wash. It'll crisp up the fades and stop you loosing so much indigo.
headtowall - Any chance of a natural light photo? It might just be the backdrop but your denim looks very blue...
dstrkt - nice combs man. Those will look great in a few months time
watchman - WOW...! The denim looks amazing there. Any chance of some full photos and wash info?

Great Eternals..
Thanks Kiya. Great work on the 3001's as well. Do you think you'll ever dig them out again? They look to have a lot of potential still left in them

Cross-post from the eternal thread:
It was really sunny this morning so I thought I would get a few shots of my eternals in the sun - its been a while! Nearly 9 months now and 2 washes.
These have really started to fade in the last few months. They still smell pretty fresh after a cold winter so I plan on holding out another month or so before I give them their next wash - try and get the fades even more defined.

i dont feel like searchin this thread, but do you have fit pics?
Here's the only one I have on my computer. There are another couple further back in the thread as well - just have a look through my post history and you'll find them.

Middleeastbeast - they look very nice now! Have they shrunk at all in the wash? They just look like a totaly different pair of jeans. I'd love to see a few more fit pics if possible

811s size 33. About two months of wear I'd say.
Looking good heattowall - they're a really nice fit on you. The combs are looking pretty defined as well.

Nice work Pancho. The wear is superb and they fit you brilliantly.

Thanks guys, great advice. Another reason I'm asking is because they were getting kinda itchy and annoying so I wanted to do a cold soak.
If they're that bad then yeah give them a wash. Don't expose yourself to rare jungle skin diseases for the sake of fades lol! A warm soak will probably do the trick - you can get away with 2-3 soaks before the colour fade becomes noticable. Also if you don't move them around too much most of the creases should stay in the jeans

I found some good light for my SDAS, I've had these since May and they've been washed twice.
Wow exile they look amazing in that light. I especialy like the top two photos - the colours there are so deep. Looks like there's tonnes of life left in them as well.

It's a bit of a tricky one really - personaly if there was very litlle fading and they didn't smell too bad I wouldn't bother with washing them. Don't worry about the lack of fading - they take ages! A pair of eternals is for life... Mine are at nearly 9 months and the fades are suddenly starting to get well pronounced with 2 machine washes and I plan on wearing these for a long time to get some really well defined fades
At the end of the day it really depends on how long you want to wear them for - if you really want to get some colour out then yeah give them a wash. Personaly I think eternal denim deserves a bit more than that so if it was me I wouldn't worry about the lack of fades too much and keep on walking.
I hope that helps somewhat - here endeth todays lecture!

Wow Sidney - those FH's are amazing - probably in the top-10 of Sufu evolutions. Great job sir! Also still quite dark on the lower leg. These belong in the XXX gallery.

Thanks everyone for the rep + feedback for my eternals.
Watchman - welcome back - your eternals are looking amazing. They're turning into a real vintage pair of jeans. How many washes have they been through?
Vanquish Gold - yeah they are legit... and awsome! Kinda like PRPS but using better denim and at the price they should be. If you can find a pair in your size then I would go for them. Alternatively eternal do a nice distressed black jean which whilst not having all the hard distressing still look great.

Tweedle's post in the evo thread inspired me to do an update myself... 7 and a bit months - 2 washes

What kinda jeans are these in the logo:
http://image.rakuten.co.jp/bluemarble/cabinet/top222.gif
and how did they get those mad magic crystal fadings?
Are they treated by hand with some kinda tool to look like that?
Waddaya think?
Yeah I would imagine that much of the detailing is done by hand - not really my thing though. I aways find that processed jeans like that often look pretty cheap when worn. They are by eternal if you are interested:
personaly I think these are a better buy though...
kinda like a good prps wash but at the price they should be...

I'm pretty sure that they don't. However the SDA LHT denim is similar in its fading properties to eternal denim. Depends whether you can put up with the arcuates though!
