Here's the 211, 4 months in with relatively light wear:

Not much of an update, but the jeans hit 4 months and I figured I'd put up my entry for the challenge. It's a little different than most others for the transportation...
In any case, 4 months in:
and my bike:
I had my first commute in the rain yesterday, which was fun. As a result, I'll be putting on a front fender soon to stop the spray.

Well, this seems to be the best I can do with the outdoor challenge... It's a view through the park that I regularly commute through on my bike. You can see the Washington Monument on the left side across the water, and the Jefferson Memorial on the right.

I had taken some pics for round 2, then flashed a new ROM on my phone and seem to have lost them. I'll do my best to get another couple in the next coupcouple of days. It may even have to combine with round 3, as I ride my bike most everywhere...

Whenever I have a hard time with new buttonholes, I find it helps to work a pen in the hole to loosen it up.

I know there aren't many fans on SuFu, but I see on the LVC website that the 684 bootcut was included in the Fall 2013 lineup, but I can't find anything online, almost nothing even on eBay. Does anyone know a site/store that has them?

Nice campfire pic.
My Oni have just crossed the 3 month mark. There's not as much going on as you can see with other people's pics, but I think they're coming along for a 2-year finish line. The material is definitely more obviously streaky in person than seems to pick up on camera.

I apologize for not posting earlier, but I'll get a pic up as soon as I can. I was out of town helping my father build a new garage and pick up a frame for a '32 Ford model T he plans on building. Denim angel submission.
OK... the pictures...

Everyone progress is sooo fast compared to mine.. Like almost nothing haha..
Same here. My oni jeans have hardly faded at all. Just a little lightening of the thighs.

I'd prefer a type 3 jacket, but that does look cool. If I didn't already have several casual jackets, including 2 denim jackets, I'd likely pick one up.

Oni roughly translates to either "ogre" or "demon", so try looking for those. I picked up a pair of the 18oz from Rodeo Bros and had no issue, though what's available may be limited.

I know I said I'd post a pic of the shirt a while back, and I don't want to rub people's noses in it, but I do enjoy the shirt... I've been wearing the jeans every day since they arrived, including riding a bike almost 20 miles around trip to campus a couple of times each week. Oni holds it's indigo quite well.

I got the denim vault t-shirt a couple of days ago, and it is really nice. I've never had such a heavy material in a t-shirt, and the printing is quite nice. I'll get a pic up soon.

Those "huarache" sandals look ridiculous. I don't even think they'd actually be considered huaraches, given that they are supposed to be very minimalistic. I've gotten a couple of pairs from lunasandals.com which I like. Very simple if you go for the new style of laces developed for them, or a bit more complicated if you go for the traditional laces that wrap around the ankle.

Sorry to post this again, but apparently eBay has decided to be very strict about the auction title with me, and took down the original auction. So, the size 35 4000VX 21oz is back up in case anyone was watching it... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=161008675456

Wow, I'm a little ashamed to bring back a thread for such a great brand for the sake of selling a pair... http://www.ebay.com/itm/161006881686?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Prescott Sterling size 32x35.

I'm selling my 4000vx 21oz as they don't seem to work for me... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samurai-Jeans-4000vx-21-oz-iron-heart-sda-pbj-denim-/161006876216?pt=US_CSA_MC_Jeans&hash=item257cc1f638 size 35, hemmed to a 32.5 inseam.

They are a 36, which is something of a size up by .5". I lost about 2.5" on the inseam, so it went from 35.5" to 33".Blue - how did you size those Onis?
How much did you lose in the inseam?

Not to derail the conversation, but is there any word about the Denim Vault t-shirts?

People had asked for info about this brand in another thread which isn't showing up in a search, so I'll put it here. I placed an order for a pair on 7/11/13, and received notification of their shipment today, 8/28/13. So, you have to figure on about 2 months from placing an order to receiving them.
