You should try the Cutom New Balance 574's. The're made in the US, the materials are nice ad the shape of them is nice and not bulbus-like.

So which are the hardest NB's to find guys?

I seem to sway towards the 574's, just simply because I like the more compact look, as opposed to the elongated 420's etc.

Found these at a chicago vintage store with a small collection of japanese baseball jerseys. I guess these are pretty common surnames but still, it seemed rather serendipitous. I would be more surprised to find one with demeulemeester on the back.

None actually fit quite right though, will probably end up as wall candy.

The Service shoes I bought started creasing horribly after a day of wearing them. Still..they're not bad for $80 and they fit just right. I just wish the leather was thicker and even more like a service shoe.

I wear a 10 and these fit just right with room to spare. Sadly no half sizes on these.

The shoes will get their test when I walk to work tommorow. They feel comfy and I'm hoping that they will break in nicely. I originally wanted a pair of Red Wing postman shoes, but I couldn't pass these up for the price. Maybe in time I will get a pair, but for work...these will do fine.

The whole point with NB is to get the boring colorways, not the hypebeast shit. Gray and navy, thats about it. Whats the point if you approach them as nike quickstrike, ca 2001?

Around here most people equate NB's as either technical running shoes, and NB 993's. I like the crazier ones because they're different. I like color too... but these are my feet. I do have a few gray NB's in my collection tho...
