  1. i don't think you guys understand the idea of a guilty pleasure...

liking an innovative hip-hip producer = no

jamming out in your underwear to "hungry eyes" in your basement = yes

Who has listed any innovative hip-hop producers?

  2. Wait...let me try and understand your thinking here. You say white tattoos are dumb because you can't even see them. And then you make this statement?

You do realize that the corollary of this is:

Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't good (or is bad). You are tripping up on your own logic...

I have another good one for you: Just because you have tattoos, doesn't mean you shit about tattoos and aren't an idiot.

Dude you are reaaally not getting it.

What he is conveying to anyone with half a brain is:

"after all this talk about white tattoos being hard to see we are shown this picture of a very visible but also quite ugly tattoo in white. Ha. Ha. Ha."

    Get it?

  3. Hey, so I just got a new job offer (hooray!), and I'll be moving to Japan in late July. I'm still 100% down, but will this be a problem?

Lookin' great in the latest shots

    Congratulations! Damn man.. Japan.

Great to see the jeans again. They look tight on you!

  4. In the same vein, I could say the same thing about any denim brand. But, seeing as I'm slightly more knowledgeable about denim, I know that jeans differ in overall design/quality. It's the reason why people prefer certain brands. The only individual who couldn't care about conception is the person who knows "dick" about denim. I only see denim aficionados being excited about this piece.

Why would an individual, who lacks knowledge, care about a collaboration with Warehouse?

I think you are missing that the average jcrew shopper is a wannabe denim aficionado.

They are getting the taste of all the aldens and expensive americana wear people in here have been on for ages.

I'm also pretty sure that this "new" pair of jeans will consist of:

    Denim warehouse has used before.

A fit that's very very close to something warehouse has done before.

No details that seperates them from the mass of jeans we wade around in here.

    Regarding the difference between brands.

Yes there is difference in cut and style, but they are so subtle that it is litteraly peoples personal taste (in here mind you) that determines what brand you choose.

I'm afraid that i'm rambling, so if the next doesn't make a whole lot of sense i appologize.

My point is that for the average jcrew shopper this will be a big deal. It will be a 300 usd pair of jeans with construction and materials way above what they are used to.

For us in here it's just another pair of 5 pocket jeans with a slightly different fit than the other 100 pairs we have access too.

  5. girls are more....lets just say moist in the crotch than dudes so imho they might need to wash or at least soak more than men. it's not all about the fast fade. it's about enjoying the jeans your'e wearing. pussy juice + crotch sweat will beat just ball sweat anyday. there is no comparison. shorty's balders are walking, while the other chicks are running, that's all. after a while they all get to the same place.
not if that's the fit she desires

Salaami turning into a combination of Buddha and a gynecologist with the name of a fallos symbol.

  6. I could care less whether they researched it on the internet or not. I'm interested in seeing the product.

See this is what i don't get.

On what level is anyone on this forum "interested in seeing the product"?

This won't be different or exciting at all.

Actually, for us, it will be a complete run of the mill five-pocket pair of jeans.

We've seen Mr. Freedom make wacky jeans with leatherpockets.

We've seen hand dyed AWA jeans and Jomons with their 600+ usd price tags.

We've even seen jeans with Kevlar in!

They aren't gonna invent the round platter to serve a largely unknowing mass.

These are only interesting to someone who has dick knowledge about denim and "our" nerdy approach to it.

And if i sound like an elitist prick, then alright.

No hate at all Heflys, i get the same thought whenever i see a new denim product. I've just gotten old on "amazing collabs" and "never before seen quality"

  7. I dont want to start a flame war or anything, but...

Fair enough that you guys don't like it. And i don't really think it looks good on many people too. But i've seen people that pull it off without looking like a wannabe hiphop guy too (backdancers i've seen). I think they look similar to some Vivienne Westwood style trouser/jeans -which if you don't like... well, it's the subjectivity of aesthetic (beauty) taste.

Sorry to say this but this board seems to be of guys who are close-minded to their own fashion sense - straight/boot/slim fit. Some time ago all of the skinny fit guys would be laughed at. Actually it wasn't too long ago, what ten years?.

Nono, man. It's just the subjectivity of aesthetic (beauty) taste.

  8. In a week and a half i'll actually have a little shoe collection for the first time in my life!

    Two nice pair of MOTOs:

A beautiful pair of caramel whole cut desert boots.

And the only black footwear I want, a pair of black monkey boots.

Next up is either some white Repettos, the jazz model.

Or a pair of quoddy deck chukkas in bison.

    I'm stoked. :P
