15 months worn daily. these jeans are hard as hell to fade.

the two holes in the crotch are most likely due to the sagging. I should have gotten a smaller size.

  2. are you going to court for this? if yes, ur "guilty plea" would be the worst idea.

    there 3 options, you'd want the dismissal/acd

if the district attorney doesnt give it to you, get the case adjourned until you get it. the last thing you want is for some stupid shit like this to get on ur records.

On what grounds would I ask for a dismissal? That I wasn't using it?

  3. I didn't think it was ever possible but I've developed a fingernail sized hole in my sexih01 these things are pretty much indestructible denim wise which leads me to believe I walk like an idiot to get that much friction on my stacks

Here's a shitty update picture too. I'm about to throw them in the wash since they are pretty filthy. the colors in the pic are a little darker then true and I'm loving the vertical streaks that are starting to form

  4. Hey Kiya, I was looking through lightning's "2008 new denim style" issue, I dont know if thats the same issue you guys have but on pg 89 it shows a pic of some Dry Bones' 5 pocket pants. Are there any plans on bringing these to SelfEdge?

    edit:

Also I know this is a stupid question but how do you read the price at the end?

  5. dumb question but is there a way to see if my cinelli stem is a 26.4mm or 26mm clamp without having to pull my bars out and measuring? I read in sheldon browns glossary that before 98 they were all 26.4. Are there any distinguishing marks that might show around what year they are from?

  6. If I were you I'd use a road style brake lever with the drops. Little trigger levers are a pain in the butt to get to if you're riding in the drops. And if you're not gonna ride the drops, then shit, get some risers or bullhorns.

The guys at refried cycles in sf gave the lever for free when i bought the stem and drops. I got confused trying to wire up the brake so I just straight cabled it. If anybody has a diagram on how to wire it, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm planning on getting bullhorns when I come across a set in my budget. Which is probably going to be awhile.

    edit:

    As someone mention:

    1) Seatpost

    2) Stem

    3) BRAKE LEVERS

    4) Handebar wrap or clean the stupid BAR

Then ur bike willl looks fine....

    1. haha fixed that...rookie mistake

    2. what is a reasonable angle my back and arms should be?

    3. working on that

    4. just picked up a bottle of goo gone

  7. get some goo gone or nail polish remover, turn your seatpost around and fix your seat (probably raise it too) lower your stem (maybe) and you're golden

thanks for the tip my roomate and I have been arguing on the direction of the post for a bit now haha.

not the prettiest girl on the road but was built on a very limited budget. I got lucky with the frame and cranks, a kid in my dorm gave up on building it and he just wanted to get rid of her.

note: seat and bar height are still off at the moment
