Davichan - congrats! Your new White's are the bomb!

I can't answer for lilldavid, but I've tried on a friend's C-Store Vibergs, and they feel completely different from the White's. Much more supple, not as heavy duty. I would think the Vibergs would be like slippies right out of the box.

The White's on the other hand... It took me quite a few weeks before they formed to my feet. Getting caught in a rainstorm helped. Don't give up - wear thick socks, like Smartwool, and walk around as much as you can...

Both boots are fantastic quality. The Viberg's have a much more refined finish, while the White's are just pure tough.

The Roys are drying out after a very snowy walk with the pups! So I thought I'd show you the corduroy LVC pants my sis got me for Christmas. Very thick, soft, all cotton material. Runs TTS. I'll take some detail shots later...

Yesterday was spent pretty much on conf calls and reviewing some contracts. What I was wearing most of the day:

In the evening, I hooked up with some friends, and we went to a place called Glow. Organic, local produce, very modern.

My two buddies & I arrived on time - and of course, our fourth arrived late - as she always does!

Funky decor - lots of modern glass and ceramic sculptures. The lights in the ceiling were constantly changing colour. This must be quite something when drunk!

For those that asked, some more pics of my winter Russells. Been rocking them for 3+ years, and they don't really seem to "age", other than a few nicks, and the leather getting more supple.

Insulated with 400g of thinsulate, with an airbob sole - so pretty much limited to 4-5 months of winter use. They're too warm otherwise.

Picture colour turned out crap with indoor lighting - but the second and third show the true green hue.

With Russell, you snail-mail your tracings & measurements, and then settle in for a 3-4 month wait. But totally worth it. Once they have your measurements on file, future orders can go much quicker.
