  1. Wait, so the only difference between the Wingman and the Sidekick is the Wingman has scissors while the Sidekick has a saw?

    For the most part, yes.

Sidekick has a saw | Wingman has scissors

Sidekick blade is straight | Wingman is combo straight/serrated one

Sidekick has a serrated blade inside | Wingman a clamshell package opener

  3. ^ sucks, because i hear its only worth going to if ur on the floor. lol

Well aren't you a debbie downer! I guess we'll find out cause I already got tickets. I could always resell it for a bit of scratch though :/

  4. not sure if this is the right thread but cant find a general apple thread..

I have a late 2009 imac and am thinking of maxing out the ram to 16gb. has anyone else done that? when i look on crucial they dont seem to make packages for 16gb. do I just buy two sets of 8gb? none of the apple literature seems to be clear about it.. TIA

I'm pretty sure there are 4 ram slots so you would use 4x4gb.

  5. well, my Kor One seems to be MIA.

How do you guys (who own it) like that takeya? Is it pretty durable? I'd just fucking HATE for it to get dropped and smash :( i'd probably cry, i've just had the absolute worst week of my life this week lmao

I love it so far. Haven't had it for that long yet so I can't exactly say how durable it is but I have dropped it on the pavement once from pretty high up and it did not break. For $15 shipped from Amazon, its a great value!

  6. Update:

So I filled this with carbonated water, and when I opened it the top kinda blew off and the o-ring seal that was in the cap went flying somewhere (was outside, couldn't find it. E-mailed the company, got a response within a half hour, they're sending me a new cap free of charge. After a month with the bottle, it's working out well, and on top of that they have really good customer service. ::thumbs up::

Bought this a couple weeks ago and I love it! It might be a on the heavier side for some people but I like the glass. Well worth the $15 I payed for it.

  7. edit: thinking of buying the new macbook air once it starts carrying the new OS as standard. i've been using the GEN A macbook air for a few years now. i think it's on its last leg, but damn it's served me well this far. it suffers from the first gen defect of occasional cpu lock, and i noticed it's getting more and more frequent. so, it's probably time to put her out to pasture this summer. tbh though...i kinda like the look of the OG macbook airs as opposed to these new ones.

I am anxiously waiting to see the new Macbook Air refresh. I'm in the same boat as you, my MBP is fucked and I'm looking to get an Air to replace it. Just don't want to deal with carrying a 15" and 3-4 textbooks in my backpack anymore.

I just want a 13" w/ Sandy Bridge processor + 4gb ram + 256gb SSD + a backlit keyboard (not necessary but I can still dream!) and I would cop the first day! Who am I kidding, I'll probably cop it the first day regardless. If not, I'll just get a 13" MBP.
