I just played the Mirror's Edge demo. It's pretty cool once you get used to the controls, the timing of certain jumps, and disarming people. I'm not used to doing many things with the trigger/shoulder buttons.

Laid off February at the university bookstore because I graduated December last year due to their policy of letting people go after they graduate. Been looking for a job since then, interviews with other laid off people, traveled a bit, catch up on reading and collecting unemployment.

Lad Musician leather riders jacket but in black.

This or Vanson/Schott brands of the same style? I like the slim sleeves on the Lad jacket a lot though I'm kind of hesitant on spending +$1K on it as opposed to getting a Schott one for about half the price.

-Not being able to get an hourly paid job because employers assume I'll leave as soon as I get a better paying job.

-Not being able to get a paid salary job because 30-40 year old, freshly laid off people have more professional experience than I do and have an edge over me.

Job market sucks now for recent college graduates.

Trying to catch up on old stuff. I just beat Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox and I'm replaying it again on hard mode. Also replaying Shadow of the Colossus on the PS2 on hard mode just because it's still amazing and creatively executed.

You want to say hello to someone whose passing by you while you wait for something, although you said "bye" to them a few minutes ago. At my last job during closing, I would get off work before my co-workers and wait at the bus stop but sometimes after closing up shop, my co-workers would walk toward me. I used to say hello to them if they walk by but it felt awkward and afterwards, I didn't say anything if they pass by.

I bought some groceries and the total came to $6.66... I'm kind of scared now.
