I got it when it was released the very first time before they offered it in slim. It's a great shirt but 2 buttons came undone pretty fast. I would recommend getting a slim and not regular shirt.

I did, they actually were totally out of stock and had not updated the website so they special ordered it for me from Samurai. Only took an extra couple days, very nice of them. Pine-Avenue & SakuraStyle both have them in stock if your looking.

It's in bioengineering, focused on computational neuroscience in relation to the mechanics deep brain stimulation, a neurosurgical treatment for parkinson's disease. I'm a postdoc in neurology now, focused on designing and developing a new neurosurgical treatment for cerebellum-based movement disorders. Just landed my first grant as a postdoc on Friday, so new jeans is a good way to celebrate (and also look more professional in lab, since my Onis are getting pretty shredded).

Congrats on the grant. I will be applying to Ph.D. programs this fall/winter in organic chemistry. Striving for drug development (cliché).

It's in accordance with the trend, add 2 cm to 44's measurements.

My S0552XX was just delivered from 2nd today and I think I am too big for Japanese brands (It's a 46). The arms and chest are great where they are but i feel like the jacket is an inch too short for my liking, I'm 6'1. I'm afraid if I wash it, it will shrink some more in those areas. I may have to throw it up for sell. However, the denim is absolutely beautiful, slubby and neppy. This is actually my first samurai purchase and the detail on this is magnificent. 

Samurai just dropped their jackets at 2nd. Big guys, get a 46 while you can. I just ordered a Type II for myself
