With original arcs and tabs these are the over-dyed black 21oz selvedge from Iron Heart. They are tagged 34" waist but actually measure 32". This is because of the over-dying process which shrinks the denim.

Hi, whats a pair of jeans that can sustain a lot of washes while still achieving good fades? like being washed once a month (being worn everyday)
Thanks
Most of the quality brands that are discussed on here will retain a good amount of indigo over repeated washes and will be hard wearing.

My lot 10 0500XX measured tag size raw. They stretched back out after shrinkage. Maybe best to check with your proxy or contact the shop direct.

I have size 34 811's after following the advice of sizing up 2 from normal size. They were quite a loose at the waist, crotch, seat and not overly slim through the legs. Not worn them much so havent witnessed much stretch/change but another very hot soak did improve the fit.
I then got a pair of 0500s in size 32 but they were the lot 10 so measured about 30 after a soak in the waist. Were pretty tight to start despite putting a hanger in the waistband. The waist is absolutely fine now after stretching. I'd say the fit is pretty similar through the leg now in both but the crotch and seat area is more fitted in the 0500s than the 811s

Hmm I got the ones from the UK site a while ago before they sold out. They look pretty much the same to the new batch on the UK site apart from the tag at the back of the waistband. Mine reads 'vintage chino' where the new one apears to read 'vintage classic chino' and has a diamond to the left with more text I can't read.

fndmybetterhalf the fit looks good imo. what shoes/boots are those you have on in the pic?

Oh OK. Thanks for that. I have 811's and seeing those makes me think I should be wearing mine more often!
Are you working on another pair or are you off the jeans?

Jooles, what is the little white square to the left of the patch? Mine doesn't have that.

I paid £160 for them from Giles. They were limited at the time and are now very rare.
