    WHYRED skinny khakis

these are number sized, but they fit approx 31x32, with a large hem: made to be folded up or pegged.

they are from opening ceremony, are great for summer/fall.

skinny with a bit of taper. stretch sides with white elastic.

never worn, without tags, i wanted them to work, but they just dont match me. button fly, fantastic construction.

can be leg unironed for a casual look, or take an iron and they're work ready.

  2. my film is in AFI dallas fest this weekend.

I'm showing twice, once on saturday and once on sunday.

i'm from NYC, i havent been to dallas since i was 8.

I have passes to parties and VIP events, lots of cocktail things and shit with actors and fashion people. I can get you free tickets to my film.

    I'm going alone.

    Anyone wanna hang?

PM me, show me your city.

  3. they can fit slimmer if you size down, as long as you arent super tall or have super long arms they will fit like appropriately.

i am partial to the SF 49'rs colors, creme sleeves and aged red body.

  4. the 5D has great low-light ability and is really user friendly in the still photo mode.

the HD video thing is fun, until you want to take it seriously, because it leaves you with little control. tried it with some zooms, some primes, and some old FD lenses with manual apertures. its a headache.

i've been using it for video mostly, but it holds its own compared to my other mark III in stills.

    can't beat the price too.

  5. Icarus - when you're ready to move to NYC like you should, I have an open room starting this summer. $550/month

Everyone - if you can *sing* and are interested, PM me

Drummers - still open, have a response, but want to keep it open for auditions.

  7. can you sing?

and we're actually not looking for a moz-esq vocal sound, otherwise we'd be dangerously into 1:1 band adoration.

a weller/bowie/roxy music thing, or a t-rex thing would be our choice for a male vocal.

  8. jeep -

im not fucking with gannon from the smiths, he ruled and made it possible for them to play some of the more complex songs live.

and he played all of stephen street's jams live for the early moz solo dates.

im in love with his gibson es-295 goldtop.

just looking for a one guitar sound

  9. hebay - no worries, drummers are impossible to find! i used to be in a ultra fast hardcore band when i was younger. we toured and were on some comp 7" and then broke up. super fun though.

jeepster - the key to our sound is 1 guitar, i play no distortion through a vox ac30.... jangle jangle. johnny marr x forever

but form a band, and i could play bass for you.

  10. craigslist is usually 30 year old jazz dudes, so i figured i'd try here

forming band needs drummer in the immediate nyc area.

we practice on the weekends in bushwick brooklyn.

we have 2 complete drum sets, one rock, one more jazzy. we have professional equipment in a practice space.

we are looking for someone who can play pop music, think motown, brit invasion, 60s rock, new wave.

our influences: the smiths, housemartins, rolling stones, byrds, REM, echo and the bunnymen, eddie cochran, talking heads.

we have 12 songs written, just waiting for you to join in.

we're 23, work in the fashion and art worlds, we want to record and gig, we have access to lots of stuff, we just need the right person.

if interested PM or email me at andrew.mailliard(at)gmail.com

see www.itowesmealiving.blogspot.com to see what kind of things we're into.

    thanks
