So my samurais finished drying this morning. I put them on and it felt like putting cardboard on. So far I like the fit except the stacking needs to be fixed. Its so stiff can barely fix it so ill let it soften up a bit.

thanks guys! they're almost dry so i tried them on. so far they fit pretty great although i can't button them up all the way. i could use a little more shrinking everywhere else but i am satisfied as it is. the denim is so much thicker than flathead and the pants feel very sturdy. since selling my s5000vx's i forgot how thick and awesome the denim was . ill post fit pictures tomorrow as i have a final paper to write.

Should not take long if they don't get stuck in customs. Give the jeans a hot wash for maximum shrinkage when you get them!

i am annoyed right now. my s5000bks were supposed to be here by now since they were shipped monday via xpress post usa from canada. however in the confirmation at usps it still says Origin Post is Preparing Shipment. Has anyone ever gotten this message? I have a feeling customs is holding my package.

Heres my inner pocket repaired with selvage samurai denim. The inside pocket was ripped about 4 inches and I would have just repaired it with just stiching but there was just so much frayed.

I've been having to repair the stitching weekly and patching them before they blowout and repairing some minor holes.

The pictures make them look a bit washed out but theyre actually more contrasted.

If you'd like to have a bit more info on them check the flathead thread. i also have pictures of them when i started on them.
