^^^ Noticed that they resampled the vocals from Teki Latex and Para One's remix of Canblaster's "Clockworks" for "Time Master." Interesting...

dat lame post-dubstep tumblr lmao
What are you talking abt?? I'm saying we should get a dropbox (dropbox.com) folder going between all of us so that we can all share songs we like with each other, etc...Thoughts??
P3 is an excellent album. It's hauntingly beautiful. Songs like "Silence" and "The Rip" are some of Portishead's best IMO. You should definitely give it another shot eNonsense. It's not any weirder than some of the Radiohead albums out there...
That's why I think Portishead is better than Massive Attack tho. I feel like they don't have a single bad album in their catalog..Also that live album of theirs is fantastic. Can't wait to see them live IRL on the 23rd.

BTW guys....Thoughts on getting a dropbox group started between all of us??

One of my fav tunes of last year is now up for d/l for free over on SoundCloud.

I didn't think it was that bad. Of the old trip-hop acts I think Massive Attack is the only one that has made decent music past their 1st or 2nd album.
Portishead > Massive Attack. P3 was fucking awesome.

Caught Bok Bok, Girl Unit and Kingdom in Seattle on Thursday night for the Night Slugs showcase at Decibel fest. In terms of sets for me the show went Girl Unit>Bok Bok>Kingdom, but the highlight of the evening was watching Bok Bok b2b Girl Unit b2b Kingdom to close out the evening.
Egyptrixx last night tho was unbelievable. His music is so heavy, but in the best kind of way and with a proper sound system it really does sound unbelievably better. He's prolly been the highlight of the whole fest for me and his set was only 45min long. btw listening to "Liberation Front" over some Funktion One speakers is something that everyone in this thread needs to experience at least once in their lives.
Kyle Hall also smashed it. I chose to see him over Martyn, because I felt like otherwise it would have just been bass music overload for me this weekend. Kyle Hall's sets are so soulful and groovy. Dude is the man.
Seeing Machinedrum tonight and dBridge tomorrow night to close out the fest. Also going to see Chateau Flight after Machinedrum this evening for those of you that are into deep house.

Wow. Zomby's set last night was one of the worst DJ sets I've ever seen. Great producer. Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit DJ. Don't ever bother seeing him EVER.

Now that Trance is cool again (thanks to Scuba) I guess that makes this Tiesto remix of Joker's latest single that much cooler.. ://///
