  1. NWT Evisu x Warehouse 2000 No.2 MIJ w. red tab + hand-painted white gulls sz 31

New, unsoaked + unworn. From last year when Warehouse was doing Evisu's manufacturing. Still Evisu's same No.2 sanforized denim, so expect little to no shrinkage.

Too many jawnz so never got around to these. Make me an offer!

    Measurements, etc....

    Waist: 31.5"

    Front rise: 12"

    Upper thigh: 12"

    Knee: 9.5"

    Inseam: 33"

    Leg opening (hem): 7.5"

  2. What's the verdict on Lot 15 s710 sizing? Smaller than usual?

My current Sams are Lot 9 or some such, back when Samurai could be counted on to reliably run big/TTS after hot wash.

Interested in buying some worn, Lot 15 710s, but seller's measurements show 1 inch smaller than tagged in the waist. Anybody know?

  3. Since the rider's seem to be enjoying something of a renaissance, maybe peep my lightly worn - 2ish mos - pair for saie in the sig. I love them but just haven't worn enough.

    Also, selling some cream speedways...

  4. Selling two pairs of Mr. Freedom pants/jeans I haven't worn in some time/enough.

Pair #1 - Riders Dungarees II - are the 2nd edition of Christophe's famed motorcycle jeans, bearing updated ticking fabric pocket bags and pull tab lining, suspender buttons, and a vaguely higher rise. Details for version 1 found here:

Worn for about 2 effective months, so barely broken in, just softer and more comfy. Crotch is 'preinforced' to last a decade easy. Then cold washed and 'benched' ever since. US retail is $379 before tax. Size 30 x 32. Measurements are as follows:

    Waist 31" / 15.5 x2

    Inseam 32

    Rise 10 3/4

    Thigh 11 3/4

    Hem 8" / 20.5cm

Pair #2 are the Speedway pique in off-white/cream, derived from those motorcross pants made famous by those 60s-era Screen, now blogoshpere, icons . Cut from heavy-dutyish (maybe 10-12 oz?), deadstock Bedford corduroy (not actually like corduroy, more like twill or jungle cloth) in period-accurate off-white. Science drop:

I wore these maybe 15-20x after a warm rinse, so they're mostly new. Then bought the black pair, which were better for work. I also had them 'short-hemmed' to 29", single-stitch, per Christophe's urging authenticity, although with the total length is longish, thanks to nice higher rise. I usually wear a 32 inseam and these hit just below my ankles. Size is 32x32 but these run small. Measurements:

    Waist 31"/ 15.5x2

    Inseam 29

    Total length 38

    Rise 11

    Thigh 11.5

    Hem 7 3/4" / 19.5cm

Asking $200 shipped for the Riders, $150 for the Speedways. Add $20 for destinations outside the ConUS.

*Full disclosure: the hems to the Speedways bear 3 pinprick-size holes thanks to a certain denim boutique's 'overenthusiastic' Union Special chainstitcher... I wish I knew had to quit you Self Edge. Any they've been mended, but unnoticeably, and probably needlessly.

  5. Speedway Pique, 1st fit pic (2nd day). SU1 (these are 32, I'm a 31 in most everything Japanese):

    img0920xu.jpg

Pictured after a warm, machine rinse and warm, hang dry (over a heating vent in my cramped bathroom). I'd given them a cold rinse Sunday but still wanted to get out more shrinkage, so rinsed them again (very warm-nearing-hot) yesterday and am happier with the fit. Problem is, I first tried them on 3 weeks back, when I was 10 lbs heavier (if you've never heard of small intestine bacterial overgrowth, count yourself fortunate) so they still fit slightly bigger than I remember then, but I think the 31 would still be too tight, and anyway I should be adding some weight back sooner than I'd like...

There's so much to love about these fuckers. High rise; fabric; detailing; perfect, vaguely tapered leg. The only drawback is the (DS Gripper) zipper, but with the waist cinched enough, it doesn't bulge badly. Depending on how much scratch I have left after impending Holiday sales, I may very well get the Black too.

  6. They didn't have a 35? I thought they did odd sizes. They def shrink. When I was in store the diff between a 32 washed vs. raw was notable and the 'washed' had only been so for 10 mins in cold water.

    Which color did you get?

  7. Nice pick up. I love that metisse fabric. I only have the hat and the color is amazing. Need to see a RoyxCone & Hirondelle fit pic. I ordered the black pullover and it should be here any day now.

Different colors? I wonder what they will be offering. Looking forward to that.

Did you see the pique jeans?

^I did. I've been coveting them since they previewed a view months back so I went Sat to try them on. They did not disappoint. The motorcross inspiration was clear - namely in the snap, tab front - and the fit was top-notch; slim but not too, nice high rise, fabrics are good and thickish. Evidently they chiefly draw from photos of Paul Newman and Steve McQueen - not together - on dirt bikes in white racing pants.

Now I just need the scratch, but not that much at 'just' $279.

  8. i'm selling a pair of the jcrew x warehouse 484's, size 33x34, for $160 shipped. retailed for $300 and i've worn them like 5 times.

great chance for one of you guys to do these things the justice they deserve!

In the supermarket? Post the link?
