Does anyone know who delivers the packages sent from japan via EMS when it arrives in the UK?

I am asking as I am thinking about ordering something via the sharp service proxy, and I am hoping it gets by customs un-noticed.

Try asking Hide to mark the package as a gift and the value low if you're worried about taxes and stuff like that.

I live in Canada and was looking into buying a pair of Eternal 811's from Blue in Green. But then I started hearing about all this proxy stuff and ordering straight from Japan.

What are the advantages of using a proxy to buy a pair of jeans if I can get them from Blue in Green/Self Edge/Denimbar? Or are there no advantage points?

A main reason why people opt to purchase denim through a proxy is for tabs/arcs and other branding that aren't allowed to be sold in the US after the whole Levis lawsuit. Stores like Blue in Green and Self Edge cannot carry these features where as stores in Japan still can. If having tabs or arcs mean that much to you then you may feel like ordering from a proxy will be better but its totally up to you. Sometimes certain jeans will be cheaper when ordering through proxy but most of the time the prices are all about the same. Domestic stores also offer special services like returns and repairs that are impossible through proxy. If you want the 811s the only difference between ordering through BiG is the red tab.

Not sure if you've already worn them for some time cause they should stretch out a bit after the initial soak. Otherwise, when they're wet try putting your foot inside one end of the waist and pull the other end up with your hands. You can try doing this when they're dry but you'll get more stretch when they're wet.

Why is it that when you sleep in your denim it becomes soft?

Is it bad for your jeans to become soft from sleep?

I've slept in my jeans plenty of times and this has never happened to me. There is no reason for them to become "soft" while you sleep since you're just laying there unless you toss and turn like crazy. So no, I don't see this being bad for them.

I hot soaked them for an hour the like a dumbass put them in the dryer without turing them inside out(dying my dryer blue). Am I screwed?

You aren't screwed. If anything the only screwed part is having a blue dryer. Just wear them and they'll still fade.

Its the logo for the line Helmet of the Will that caught my eye and I liked. I'm not sure if they got it from that cover of the germs or the london metro or what.

Does anyone know where I can find the Mod Pant in black from the S/S 08 collection. I know some botiques have them in through their blogs but I cant find any info from them for online/phone ordering.

I think those fit you great especially with the slouch but its up to you how low you want to wear them.

I feel that a bootcut without any stacking just looks like a pair of womens flares. Its not a matter of stacking being a trend or not. I would probably just avoid the bootcut altogether if I were at that height.

The 3007s look a little strange without stacking although its probably hard being 6'4". Try slouching a bit and maybe that would help.

For skinnier jeans like Flathead 3001s, Dior 19cm, April 77s, etc I usually wear them a good two inches or so below my hips for some sag. For looser jeans I probably wear them on the hip.

They run pretty true to size.
