  1. Are those the same fit as the 103's??? I want.

    Yeah, they're the same fit.

In SDA's numbering system, the first number is the denim and the third number is the fit. Hence the 003's have the same fit as the 103's, and the 101's have the same denim as the 103's.

With this being said, SDA's 0XX denim does not shrink as much as the 1XX denim, so you would have to size down one: postwash, a 29 in the 003 would fit similar to a 30 in the 103.

    Hope that helps.

  2. Yeah, I was thinking about getting the 710s but I'm worried they'll be too slim? Do you guys think it'll be alright?

They should be good. If you don't want them to be super slim, size up one.

Could anyone share their knowledge and tell me what's been used to dye these Fullcount jeans:

Are they coloured that way simply for fashion, and can anyone point me in the direction of finding out more about the fading properties of jeans like this?

    Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about these jeans in particular, but they look very similar to the mud-dyed SC Okinawas. I would guess that they are also mud-dyed. Since they have a white weft they should fade like regular indigo jeans (or sulfur-dyed black jeans with a white weft such as the s5000bk) but I have no idea how stubborn they would be.

  3. lately i've been wanting to get a new pair of jeans and thinking of going the leepro route. i've always wanted a pair of Samurai's so the 110XJ have been on my mind for a while now.

what i am not sure about is what size to get because i've read that the leftie denim behaves differently.. like it doesnt stretch as much. i've read before that some ppl wish they didnt size down. my true size is usually between 33 and 34. i'd like them to fit comfortably, would i be okay with a 33?

Size down one on the 110XJ and they should fit fine in the top block. They will still seem a bit loose below the knee, but there's nothing you can do about that.

The short answer is to get a 33.

  4. ^ Eternal cooks the hell out of their one-wash jeans. My 811s had a few odd creases from the dryer and the patch was a bit baked. I would definitely go for the raw version.

  5. The new Sorahiko is a bit looser in the thighs than the old one, and slightly less baggy below the knee. It also seems as if they are vanity sized a bit; my size 33 new Sorahiko fits about the same as a 34 in the old fit.

  6. Eternal 811s would also be a good pair. They fade beautifully every time, and they aren't too expensive at approx. 18,000 yen. Sizing can be tough on these, but since you are in Tokyo you will be able to try them on.
