For the amount of money you spent for the re-sole (I imagine it was a lot) they could've stitched the outsole. Looks great anyway. Did you have them re-last with a flatter toe box?

Damn crash you lost some weight? Second for photos of the current collection. Thanks.

Berry Nice Macro Shots… The blockish heel is a vast improvement from the original. No outsole stitcher?

Not really. You can wear them out and then polish them later. Mustang Paste is really more for Horsehide. I find that a light leather moisturizer and a few coats of polish works the best to give your upper a nice patina.
Since you are in Japan, I would recommend getting steel tips, since they wear out very fast. And getting them done at Union Works is an especially good idea, since their work is top notch, though they are located in Tokyo. I think there is one guy in Osaka, if you want to go to a more local spot, but I can't recall the name.

Too damn ho for these right now. Going to have to rock my chinos until this heat wave ends.

You gotta try places like 45rpm, eternal, KAPITAL, that have a more women-centric lines as well as trying large malls like daimaru and BEAMS.

Shrinking from soaking seems to be minimal. I might have gone with a 36, my usual size, but I like loose fitting pants. Going to try and throw them in a dryer. The rise is crazy high. I had my jeans hemmed to 28" and its still hitting the floor. And I'm closer to 6' than 5'!
I feel these will stretch easily.

I just want to offer, a different perspective. By no means am I doubting what has happened to you. I've never experienced that kind of treatment at Leffot, especially from the owner. I'm also a person that runs around in a hoody, jeans and engineer boots. I've been shopping there since 2008, and it has always been a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. I could spend hours there just nerding out on shoe construction with the people that work there, not purchase a thing and still get treated with respect in the following visits. I'm not one of those guys that has that kind of dough, but I have purchased a few shoes there, but never anything over a G.
I've had crappy experiences with some of the staff at BiG, but not by the recent associates there. The owners, Gordon and Yuji have always been top notch and extremely helpful. The recent staff has been excellent. (Sup Naoki.)
So I say this to say, sometimes you can catch people on a crap day, and they are at fault for giving crap service. Its a individual experience, and its not always a sign of how a store treats their customers on a regular basis.
But if you did experience shitty service at Leffot, then its their bad for losing a customer.

Got mines… Best $200 jeans in the world.
Fabric feels like vintage XX denim, like how Denime tired to do back in the day. Beautiful.
Fit is what I thought. Tighter waist, large legs and tall rise.

The non-anniversary 510xx's I got last week from 2nd have black arcs
You're probably thinking about 510xx19 oz (black arcs) vs 510xx 15oz (non-black arcs)

When you say all the models have black arcs, do you mean all the models excluding the 5000vx, 3000vx, 4000vx 0500xx, 0510xx, s001jp, s002jp, s003jp, s011xj and s0120xj?
TTS would be a 30. Yes, its a stupid question and you are forgiven.

It makes my Buco's feel like a bargain.

I sized up one, probably be too big, but nothing 2 hours in a dryer can't fix.

Been too long since I posted (2 years?). I haven't made any leather projects for over a year, so I'm a bit rusty.
I'm excited to get back into it.

Lol, I need to update my blog…
The 906 denim is a bit flatter in texture. I would say that the 906 denim is closer to vintage denim from the late 60's, with its smoothness and eventual light blue color.
It's definitely not like a warehouse or denimexx fabric, that has a lot of slub, but its also not too even like sanforized denim. I would say somewhere in between.
