  1. Was actually a lot cheaper than it could have been...if it was sent through Fedex or another courier, they would have used in-house customs clearance, and the brokerage fee alone would have been $30 or $40...plus taxes...plus customs.

I feel ya man, i bought my okinawa's in Feb and got taxed 80 bucks getting it from rakuten. I think it was like 180cad after shipping but the customs slapped me 80 bucks on taxes!

  2. where the fuck did you get those i tought those were already sold out everywhere..

its not the 10th anni. its the eternal 872, its the same as the 10th anniversary one just doesnt have 10th anniversary cloth and something else i think. But the jeans is the same.

  3. the hard wash okinawas are one the best hard washes i've ever seen. used to be really good pictures of it on amazon but i can't find them anymore. Thw hard wash on the okis sold me on gettin a raw pair. that and the python patch

I concur, I just ordered a pair of okinawa from hinoya. Now im patiently waiting for to arrive! :D

  4. I received the exact same message too but afterwards they e-mailed me again to write down my phone number because they cant ship it out without it. I e-mailed them back with my phone number and they replied back with "thanks" and thats it. I guess that means they shipped it out.

  5. Thanks for the advice guys...

Don't mean to beat this to death, but I contacted the seller to ask about selvage and she doesn't really know a whole lot about it...

Have you guys seen ones like these before:

    ...and are they selvage?

I know some on here don't like washes at all, but this one isn't too extreme and will look fine with normal wear, IMO. Plus, the washed ones are drop-in-the-bucket cheap versus the raw where you have to actually think before you buy. :)

I got the same pair as the one in the auction and just to tell you, if you're not really into the baggy look do not get that pair of jeans. I prefer my jeans not to be slim fit so it didnt really matter for me (plus i got it for 9.74 at a polo outlet store the last pair too lol :D).

  6. 2000dB runs a great service and doing it definitely takes majority of your time especially if you have more than like 10 orders.

Just wanna give props to a fellow canadian for the great service as this is the 2nd time dealing with 2000dB and got my canes today, the shipping was super quick! it was sent out on the 4th and it arrived on my doorsteps in Canada in 4 days ! Definitely would buy from again!

  7. Just got my pair of canes today 1947 (thanks 2000dB!) I love the fit on it, its not too tight at the leg opening like my new standards but not baggy either! Prob my fav. jeans right now!

  8. Im in my 3rd week breaking my new standards and at lunch i just realized the side seam bursted in the ankle section prob because i've cuffed them when wearing but i doubt thats the case..... I hope this is just a rare occurance because i still have a brand new pair of rescues that are waiting to be broken in.
