  1. I've been looking around and doing my research lately for the perfect winter sock. It seems wool is the way to go vs. cotton. Here's a link I found Wool vs. Cotton. Which is the better insulator? http://www.onsetcomp.com/information/labs/pdf_labs/6972_woolvscotton.pdf

Merino Wool keeps on coming up on my searches, here's what wiki said: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merino

some links to some great socks (they're not cheap, but the quality is great!)

My tops picks are Darn Tough, Smart Wool, WigWam

  2. I've got about 6 or so pairs of Levis Red's I just sent to my mom's house for storage. I'll have to go over the and snap pic's of everything. They will probably be up in the supermarket soon too...

  3. Post Soak Measurements:

    Waist: 30

    Front Rise: 11

    Back Rise: 14.5

    Upper Thigh: 11.5

    Knee: 9

    Leg Opening: 8

    Inseam: 34

I did the best I could to measure these. Like I said before very little shrinkage and it's pretty close to what BIG had on their sight.

  4. Is this when Shelter was being thrown at Club Vinyl? I used to go to the Body and Soul parties there on Sunday afternoon to hear Francois K play deep/tribal/classic house. This is way back in the day.

-yeah good ol' club vinyl, how I miss that space...I also worked when they moved to club speed in midtown. now shelter is down the block from my apt. downtown... but I never go there.

Body N' Soul is doing a reunion party MKL weekend here...

I'm a 30 and sized down to a 27. I didn't think it was possible but my jeans are still intact. I haven't blown any buttons nor had any tears (knock on wood). But I definately didn't soak them as long as any of my other jeans. I did do a hot soak wearing these jeans. If I didn't wear them during the soak I don't think I would of ever fit in these after.

  8. these are $650 a pop in nyc.

in another 2 months most coats at the gap will be on sale. just wait out and get one there for $50.

$650 where are u going? Tent & Trails downtown(NYC) is the spot for Canada Goose jackets. Around $400 bucks and under. Just bought my girlfriend the long mystic coat it was like $415 while paragon was selling it for $480... Mos def recommend Canada Goose jackets for the cold winter. I'll swear by it, I'm never cold in my jacket! And most of my friends who work outside at various clubs all rock these coats to stay warm. The only negative is going into stores you have to take it off, cause you instantly start sweating. & holding the jacket is like carrying a small child. Worth the investment, you will never buy another winter coat. Plus I love the wire in the hoods, you can bend and contour the hoods to your face...

Shoot these jackets are what scientist wear in artic tuntras. (sidenote they rocked these in the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" when the world turned to ice) ha ha...

EDIT: they run super big so size down.... I'm rocking like a 3XS, & alot of their hoods/coyote fur liners are removable.
