I went into the Dior store over the weekend in NYC uptown 57street. -Just to browse and look at denim. They had the raw 19cm & 21cm no selvedge, & I asked if they were the Japanese or Italian denim? & the store guy snapped at me and said, "why are people asking that!!!" -it's Japanese....

did I miss something???

I tried them on when BIG got them in... I liked the 003 model the best. It was a very light weight denim great for summer. (though summer is over) The back pockets ride lower then normal. It's something different and looks pretty good? They also had a selvedge model with a cool leather patch on the back, which looks like it would wear nicely. The last model I believe was like the 003 but only in a heavier denim....

picked up a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7 for my 3week tour of asia... Took about 2,000 pics with it & it handled great. I love the stabilization of it. I was in a moving tour bus alot of the time taking shots. Each shot came out nice a clear/still...

I went a couple weeks ago in nyc when they got their overdyed new denim in... it looked pretty fresh. But my only issue was they overdyed the denim on the inside of the leg too!!! Hence blue indigo legs, boxers, & socks??? -weird....

I just picked up a redmoon peacemaker in the light saddle leather color. It's not even a week old and has already started to change in color. I've also been careful not to get too much indigo on it. My question is should I keep it as is and just wear it in naturally or try to oil it? Does anyone know the benefits of oiling? (protection, darker look) & can someone talk about what not to do (precautions) If anyone has any before and after pic's of the redmoon wallets... (b4 oil, after oil, natural wear)

The levis store on Broadway is a nightmare... I've given up with that place. Although I did happen to walk by and run in one day. & I picked up a nice Andy Warhol cut off denim vest/jacket. But besides that I'm all over my friends store Blue & Green. (was in there the other day when Daryl from Run DMC walked in)

I can only hope that the customers/zombies from the Bape store don't trickle down to Blue & Green...

Originally I had bought these at Atrium & did a lay away plan. Then ran over to Selvedge and found that they were selling them too! Needless to say I bought a pair from Selvedge which fit me much better then the ones on lay away at atrium... I ended up taking pic's of the jeans and selling them on ebay. Luckily someone bought them off of ebay, and I was able to cover the ones on lay away at Atrium, which I shipped out...

I love these jeans!!! & RIP Selvedge... damn I miss that store! (chip N' pepper is now there...eek!)

I bought these from the now defunct (Levis) Selvedge store on Mulberry street. I also know Atrium (NYC) carried these too. They are Levis LVC S501XX that came in an aluminum lunch box. Limited run of 250. With painted red accurates on the back pockets. The have a plaid pink checked pattern on the inside pockets. Also there is a bit of a destroyed look on the left hand side on the top of the jeans. The tag says W32 L34, but I'm a size 30 and I would say it feels more of like a 29... Does anyone know anymore info/history behind these? I was just curious...Thanks!

Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed before I bought this...(didn't see one) I would of liked to have the option of attaching a braid/chain.
