  4. I have been on my dream road trip for the past 2 weeks with my girl.

All the way up the west coast and then back down again - all shots are either point and click with my Contax G2 or a little bit more considered with RB67. I have other 800 scans from this trip. Best memories ever.

  5. I feel like you all thought I was saying I am abandoning film? I am one of the biggest film advocates out there.

Film to me is more like art, truly bleeding light onto a negative etc. I couldn't agree more with some of the things mentioned about film above, and is one of the reasons I love it as a medium.

I was just saying that I am moving forward professionally with an open mind - I am a film maker so the digital revolution is very prominent, and I feel a lot of people that are into film and the perseverance of film, are quick to judge digitial, like I said I am one films biggest fans - but I am just keeping an open mind to what the future holds.

  6. Anybody got any recommendations for LA - Black and grey, hand drawing style ala Duncan X, Liam Sparkes, Phillip Yarnell etc.

Here for two months, and feel like getting something and just want to make sure its in a similar vain to my other stuff.

This shot is great, While I am a huge film advocate seeing as its all I shoot for stills - I think there is an argument that film has reached its pinnacle - Digital still has room to advance, as a culture we are used to film its what we think is normal its nostalgic, and I think thats why we think its better, but I am convinced that digital is going to do some spectacular things in the next 10 years.

  8. Me and my Girlfriend are moving from London to LA for 8 weeks ( She is doing a course ), I am going to take an extended holiday and if I have any luck with my visa do a little bit of work.

We are going to be doing a road trip up north for the first week we were planning to do :

Is there anything I would be a fool if we missed or didnt get to do?

I am booking into the Madonna inn for a night and have heard its a pretty special place, going to be spending the road trip filming a little 16mm film, so if there are any views or quirky spots I would never have known about, basically any information is appreciated.

Also if anyone wants to go skate or take photos in LA ill be about from the 16th Sept I will be in the Silver Lake area

    Thanks in advanced
