  1. ok, so i've got the gap jeans (like cultpop) and i'd say they're great. my sister has a pair of the uo ones and they didn't look raw to me, but cheap and i might be talking about different pairs. i thought they were just a dark wash.

but the point here is: seeing as i know the gap jeans are a mid-rise for women, i'd think that the new cures (i have these too) would be WAY too high for most girls. i tend to like a lower rise (which would be higher on girls of course) and the new cures are almost too high for me. so new cures on ladies? i'm not sure.

also, diesel has a pretty nice cut called the liv. i'm not sure of the quality of the denim but i've seen some girls i know rocking them and they look pretty nice. they are kind of diesely and branded, though.

A girl I work with has the Livz, she took a page outta my nudie book and tore the pocket stitching out and now they look great, the denim is alright and the fit is nice, but they stretch a lot.

  2. Neil I am very excited to see Kato Brand getting some attention on the future. My boss is setting up a small webshop with a partner in Toyko and he has been telling me about Kato brand for the last few months. I don't believe he's managed to get an order in but I know he is very interested and when he does we will both be wearing a pair of your jeans (and be two of the very few in Canada doing so). Keep up the amazing work, I actually have a small Kato Brand booklet sitting here on my coffee table as I type this.

This is a great place to introduce such a unique brand. I'm looking forward to wearing one of your garments.

  3. So i take it we are not going with the trendy bandaged left wrist look on here then? sorry my bad. i wont bother then. (embarrased).

p.s you can call me mike if you like.

Um excuse me you little twat but when have you seen people from sf jumping on celebrity dick? Not sure where you got this retarded commentary from but you clearly need to lurk more.

  5. During the summer I work 70+ hours a week, plus I have class two nights. Now I go to school for 25, have piles of homework and work 30-35 hours. Fun times....... I'm actually cutting back on working saturday nights, and getting of earlier friday nights so it's gonna be alright.

I just want to be done.

It's not really so bad, I suppose if I didn't have somewhat expensive tastes I could do less work but it's no big deal. Oh and the new gf takes up most of my evenings/sleeping hours.

  7. Don't do it if you have a big forehead, I made that mistake and it was quite unflattering.

Um I have a big forehead and mine looks good It's more about the overall shape of your head thats important. Hell look at Jason Statham, hes got a receeding hairline and it looks good. My hair is doing the same thing and I've gotten complements on it specifically.

  8. Oh shit, I should have kept up on this thread. I've wanted a pair of Sammies for a while now but I just bought some JR calis and a pair of cloak boots. My decision will have to be made in the morning if it is not to late. And what? are we talking like measured waist? or what we usually wear. Also is this presoaked sizes? Or do we buy what fits use tight before soaking, wear them for a while to streach them THEN soak them?

Sorry for all the questions but this is all a little last minute for me.

  9. I would just like to add that the iAudio X5 can be organized by artist and what not if you have everything organized in folders(which I do). I have an ipod but it was a gift, my ex bought the x5 and the sound quality blows everything away, even with the boxed headphones it is very nice. Granted I plug in my Grados and hear every fucking thing in the song. Just amazing.

  10. More tapered then a SS, I can squeeze into a 31 SS and I got a 32 in the Cali but then again neither are very slim in the thigh. I really like my Calis but I probably coulda gone one more size down. I guess it depends on how slim you want them.

I also got my Calis for like $100 or so, so it was a great deal for the quality of the denim. :)

  11. I was actually researching this last night as a friend of mine bought some cheap black jeans and he wanted to stiffen them up for creasing, I also have a pair of black dry Slim Jims that have lost there rigidity. After using spray starch and not liking the results I started looking for other methods. What I've found is a recipie using Rice flour, corn starch, wheat starch and water. I plan on eliminating the wheat starch and adding more rice flour as it is said to give fabric a very nice silky finish. I'll post pics once the project is done.
