how do perms work? anyone ever get one? my hair is really straight and fine and i have to put a lot of time into getting any kind of curl into it, and it usually comes out fried looking from all the heat which sucks.

Get a perm, period. You're not gonna get far using the curlers if your hair is really straight and fine, that's for sure. But be prepared. People will give you shit for perming your hair as a dude

For a cheap fix you might want to look into those Crossroads XBi (or whatever they call the extended bass version now).

Was really popular back then but they seem to have faded out of the the flavor of the month club.

Now the latest in the Mylar lineup is the Mylar Bijou, and it's IMO much better than the old mylars ESPECIALLY in build quality. It comes with the bassy version as well, probably the XBi equivalent.

I'm 4/5 through Norwegian Wood. It's my first Murakami novel, and it's really enjoyable. Somehow i never felt i was a fan of this kinda genre, but it drew me in.

If i'm not mistaken, the size is from 50-62cm, i'm assuming they're referring to head circumference here.
