They certainly do like their vanity sizing at Ooe but they also do stretch quite a bit too. I am a 31 waist and these two pairs are both 31s OA02-0515 on left and OA01XX-0614 on right. They are a little snug after they have been washed but stretch out ok.
Ooe's usually shrink from tab size, that is, they end up being one size smaller than than the tab size after some wear.

Anyone had problems with insoles slipping inside boots? Out of no where my insoles start slipping, causing them to sound like a cheap pair of boots with water stuck in them. I even bought new ones, still get it and it's so bad I can't even wear them right now,
I've had this problem sometimes, but it depends on the insoles. Usually I've had this with wool insoles for winter. Basically if the insoles are stiff and sized properly, they won't slip.

I've been using Ooe & Y:s exclusively for about the last five years but decided to order these (710). Feels like cheating, excited and ashamed at the same time.
I hope I got the sizing right, these shrink from the tag size, right? Like Ooe&Y's...

I have usually size 32 in everything, but my 400t's are 31 and the waist fits about the same.
I'm pretty impressed with these jeans, denim, details.... I've had them for a day so can't really say much. The cut and details are a bit on the 'modern' side.

Can anybody give me a front- and rear-rise measurements on a size ~31 pair? Most of what I've seen online states that it's about 22cm / 8.7" for front rise. It can't be true, I've seen grown men wearing these!

Guess I will follow your advice, fixate the waist and shrink everything else. Thank you!
Or trade with me, what size do you got?

Awesome pictures guys! BUT WHERE ARE MYYY SAMURAIS!? haha
Has anyone heard any news regarding this process? i'm going insane over here!
Isn't aho in Japan at the moment? Let's urge him to stand in front of the Samurai HQ without pants in demonstrative purposes and see our competition to swiftly start!

I have yet to see a single post regarding Levi's durability issues . Notice the different meaning of quality back then and now. We are a bunch of pampered sisters
Quality of a product by definition means that the products coming from the production line are homogeneous. What I've understood by reading the last pages is that in case of LVC they're not.

You need to post pic of the bootkiller also!

I like the endless heavy evolution of never washed raw denim over years.
Now I know why they don't like your denim in the office!
In regards, I believe that some washing will prolong the life span of ones denim...

I got a quick question, my buddy got the devil's a while back, beautiful jeans but he says the leg twist is crazy. Does anyone else have this problem with IH jeans? or is it just the 666?
I'm pretty sure that besides your buddy, not too many people here considers it as a problem.

Is this a typo or?.. I have quite a lot of experience with both 14-15 oz. jeans and 19+ oz jeans and well, son, this does not compute...
Actually when the sun rays hit the denim fabric the lighter one gets warmer as there is less material for the heat to spread out!

Does anyone here own both the 3xxx and 1xxx denim? Does the extra 1.5oz of the 1xxx make any real, discernible difference to feel, wear, etc?
Has anyone picked up the 20oz anniversary jeans yet?
It definitely makes a difference to feel. I can't say much about the wear since the rise in Flatheads prevents me to wear them in everyday situations where the blumbers smile is frowned upon. Heavier fabric usually produces higher contrast fades (esp. in "wrinkles"). I'd also say that 3xx denim has more streaky vertical fading going on than 1xx...

Take5 was recommending to size down to W29 or W30
Quite scary...
Size 29 has smaller back pockets (if I remember correctly 31 and up -> normal sized pockets?), at least in their "normal" jeans. That was a really turn off for me...

thats strange. they seem to only start work after receiving funds. or at least thats what happened for me. they did take a while to send me an invoice after confirming my details though.
They'll send the invoice when your order is next in queue to be constructed, sort of like "we only charge your card when we ship your package".

My 0701s are really tight too. After a month I got about an inch of stretch in the waist, but not much else. I just don't understand fit pictures like this
when the same cut looks like this
on me. Inconsistencies in the cut maybe?
Sizing up? Say you're 30 and take size 32, that would seem like a totally different cut.

Why haven't I got black anything?

Fantastic yes, but of dubious legality
It's not of dubious legality if they publish the book!

No idea, eBay? --but that doesn't seem like "light ripped" to me. Or maybe the "light" means the color/wash.

what's "Lady Calf" leather?
It's a "baby cow"? That would be silly....

It's always really assuring when users with one or two posts come about raving from this new amazing brand.
Nothing wrong with new comers though!

Wonderfull pair of jeans. To my surprise they're actually a bit slimmer on the top part than Ooe's 02 -cut. This might be because they have more of an "antifit" cut than Ooe's. Also, the sizing seems pretty similar, Ooe's shrink maybe to a tad smaller size.
