  1. these are the best beers ive drank recently...

    blue point winter ale

    blue point hoptical illusion

    southampton espresso stout

    southampton cuvee des fleurs

as far as a list of favorite beers, i would take any of the above any day of the week...add magic hat #9 (from a tap in new england only - the farther from vermont you get, the worse it gets) to that list too

  2. i tried every store linked from the arc'teryx website and none of the public ones (ie sites not intended for law enforcement etc) have them. froogle turns up nothing. anyone know where i can readily purchase the charlie pack, or does anyone have one they want to sell? many thanks for any advice.

  3. Also in Ueno there is a huge department store called "Mauri" but the sign is a giant "UIUI" or something like that. It's kinda cool.

    marui...OIOI

for department stores i would just go to shinjuku bc there's a ton of them (marui as well as marui men's (OIMEN); isetan and isetan men's; uniqlo (multiple locations); all the shit at takashimaya times square; comme ca ism; etc etc etc) all close to each other.

there is good shopping all over the place in tokyo... just do a lot of wandering, and maybe look over the superfuture resources if there's specific shit you're interested in. somewhat unrelated but i also found a compass to be very useful in harajuku, especially when trying to re-find places.

  4. Barhopping on tuesday night, but oh hell, I know I am not dressed properly, but who gives a shit.

that is a great hoodie...does anyone know where to get something similar? i believe someone mentioned that this is a dior ripoff? if anyone has helpful info, i'd greatly appreciate a pm since talking in this thread is illegal.

  5. they are fine quality - and they don't print on AA, their shirts are shorter as mentioned, as well as more 'substantial' feeling. the shirts i have from them have broken in quite nicely actually - they stay fitted and get soft. $30 or whatever their shirts cost is quite a lot, but sometimes their designs are worth it.

  6. i bought this from digital_denim. selling it because after having it for a month ive only worn it once, and i know there's other people on here who would give it more love than that.

pics are recycled from digital_denim's original post since nothing about the hoodie has changed. as the title says, this is a spruce zip hoodie, blue/white tiger fleece, sz m, classic fit. long cuffs, riri zipper, all that wonderful stuff.

you will not find this color anywhere, and certainly not for this price: 135 shipped by usps priority mail in north america. (+$10 elsewhere in the world.)

if you want to send a money order, i'll take off 5 bucks since then i can avoid the paypal fees, but i would prefer paypal regardless.

i could have (and perhaps should have) just made the price the same as what i paid, but hell, it's the holiday season, and everybody loves a bargain.

email [email protected] if PM doesnt work.

    thanks for looking.

  7. i agree that on the road is not his best but it is the best starting point for someone who has no prior exposure to kerouac's writing. i also liked fallen angels, and some of the dharma is also a trip to read - it's made up of stuff from his journals containing his various (mis)interpretations of buddhism, among other things.
