I'm pretty disappointed with the outcome. I really wish I could have wore them longer. I would estimate 12-14 months of solid wear. They went through 4 or 5 rounds of crotch repairs. The last repair was done and they tore a day later so I gave up, this was around the time I posted last in here. I can't wait for the day that the crotch is not the weak link with heavy denim.

they will be..it´s very close and they might reach your legs a week after the official start date - but hey- it´s a 2 year contest ....

hey guys - I seriously don´t mean to torture you...it is painful enough for me to hang in there and wait for the sample jeans..it takes them about 4 weeks to make it , and the denim itself will be fresh off the loom - in other words - before the sample is in my hands - I won´t speculate.

But rest assured - it is a jeans made from a supreme denim - no compromises - and I am sure other big players and brands in Japan would pick it up as well, grade A , 17oz raw which will give you about 18oz once soaked, and a rope dyed warp that has seen 24 dips...

On top of that I didn´t compromise on threads or fabrics for details - the pocket bags alone could well serve to make a suit..and yes, I could have picked cheap buttons in order to keep costs down - but that´s just not what I believe in..doghnuts all the way - and something that ages just as well as the denim.

I did not compromise when I set out to get the first pair of bybeatle done - and I have every intention of having a pair of jawns that is on par in terms of quality & longlivity as established brands that we value and worship.

The price will be what it will be, I didn´t pick some shady enterprise to get it done; TCB is producing for major players such as Sugar Cane; and we all pay for what we believe in. I have been a denim head for too long to not to be aware of quality being the key factor to success.

I will most certainly try and honor the faith put into the product and me with a discount for all pre orders, and that´s things as they should be, but no, it won´t be a jeans on the cheaper end spectrum, that´s just not good enough.

I want to create something that lasts and something that people are happy to wear - every day.
