When I went last week, they had sneakers. Not sure about hoodies.

Orchard just opened up on Tremont St. over on Mission Hill. It's a skateshop with some streetwear threads.

Sorry Lance P, I knew that was gonna happen. That was all my fault. I had a long night Friday and dragged my ass in on Saturday around 1 pm. That's the downside of shopping at small buisnesses. Which hill are you talking about Mission or Beacon?

Haha it's all good... understandable. The weather turned shitty anyways, so good thing I went back early and didn't stick around. I live on Mission Hill... I wish I can afford Beacon Hill rent.

yeah so every band has it's influences, so what? it can still be good music, and i think bloc party have got their own sound, it's not like they're copying something directly, they've just got their influences, like pretty much every band.....

I agree completely. poly800rock just made it seem like Bloc Party sounds nothing like Gang of Four.
  4. Yeah, I was just reading over the thread again. It looks like he got a 34W in the raw dukes, but I think that might be a little too loose for me, and I'm not sure how he wears his jeans. I might end up picking the 32W 'cause I'm assuming it'll stretch out a good deal since it's raw. Hopefully it doesn't end up too tight.

Guffer: I read you wear a 32W in Nudies, is it loose on you, or a perfect fit? And were the 34W raw dukes a perfect fit for you before you put them in the dryer? I just really want these jeans, haha, that's why I'm asking all these questions.

  5. Thanks a lot. I just e-mailed the Imperial info. Hopefully he can help me out with waist sizing, and I'm really hoping they still have some more dukes left over.

Can anyone else help me out some more with sizing?

  6. hap: What specific color are these raw dukes that you have on?...

    dukes1.jpg

... or do the raw dukes only come in color?

Also, to anyone else, what waist size would you recommend I get if I wear a 31W for my RRDS? I read through this entire thread, but I kept getting mixed info. I like to wear my jeans pretty much like the picture shown above. Thanks!

bloc party always sucked.. just had huge media hype..

how can 1 band who have 1 'alright' song get that big?! expecially when the only merit to the decent track is that it sounds like gang of four.

    gayers!

I hear this crap all the time, how people say it sounds like this or that kind of (insert obscure post punk band) here. but in all reality, these bands sound nothing alike, and bloc party actually have legitimately good pop songs not cheesy dance songs like so many bands are doing today. banquet is the worst song on that album anyhows...

kind of like how saying interpol sound like joy division.

You're deaf if you don't hear Gang of Four in Bloc Party.
