    Yeah, I've worn mine for over a year. One of these days I'll take some pics of them... Also need to take pics of my Fullcounts for Fullcount thread...

    whoever here with a 35L or 85L or other fast L primes, if you can't figure out why most shit comes out blurry when you shoot at large apertures, I'll tell you that the lens is broken and you should send it to me.

    Get the 35mm 1.4L instead. BOOM TIME.

    werd, i thought about picking up the 35 and the 85 before the price hike... but they're not all that useful until I get my next camera...

    I'm going to be buying my first dSLR soon and only have $800 to spend on the body. I know I won't be upgrading the body any time soon, probably at least 2 years.

    After going to a camera store to look at some of the entry and mid range models, I decided I liked the feel of the D80 the best, over the D40, XTi and Sony A100. I liked the 40D even better though it's out of my price range. I know I could get a 30D in used condition for the same price as a new D80, but I don't know how it compares to the 40D.

    Would I be better off buying a used 30D (~10,000 clicks) or a new D80?

    save up for the 40D or wait for the 450D. I would generally recommend the D80 but it's pretty dated now and the 450D should be cheaper and a better camera overall. Wireless flash is nice but the price difference can buy you an extra flash and more.
