  1. No. The bottle was $250. At a store. You DO know theres alcohol that costs a little more than $7.99,right? No, its not at the package store across from costco.

congratulations. you have confirmed one of the two options i offered in my message.

my point is that either way, you're an idiot.

    a) virgin scotch drinker buys limited bottling of fine scotch at market price, thinking he'll get anything out of the experience of drinking it = idiot.

    B) virgin scotch drinker buys $50 bottle of mass-market scotch for $250 at a club = idiot.

airjamie chose option a), therefore, airjamie is an idiot, QED.

  2. why'd they get this guy to play walter kovacs? he's not funny looking enough.

i think buscemi would have been better...

have you seen little children? when i saw the casting for watchmen i was really glad they cast haley. he'll be amazing.

syb: moore has distanced himself actively from every movie project ever.

  3. Oh no, I have not ruined anything. Rather, it is you who is a bad seed when you use invectives and fail to even touch a tangent of the subject, which is rules and was brought up not by me but by beatle.

No flaw in my argument has, nor will there be, been pointed out because I am right. It is well known that one that has nothing else to add to a discussion resorts to insults, as shown above.

Note that I did not say or imply that anyone should be left out of the poll, I actually said the exact opposite, that no one should be kicked out because the rule has already been broken.

There are obviously a couple on here who like to give me a bad rap and misinterpret what I say, you being one of them, made obvious by the moment and way in which you chose to pitch in.

    nice try.

like i said, you've got a valid argument (and some nice pants, too), but as an addendum you're, for some reason, compelled to add poor-me anecdotes. you imply that by overcoming your own petty misfortunes, you're somehow more of a legitimate contestant than someone who, for legitimate reasons, wasn't able to post a picture to the internet just yet.

you can bolster your argument with your personal 'flawless logic' all you want, but it's the tone that's the problem, not the logic.

instead of directly addressing the issue you took with how beatle's jeans appeared, you posted conjecture and gossip in swedish, finally coming out and calling beatle a cheater after the rest of the forum was sick of you just alluding to it. classy. and now you're looking for a way to make illegitimate the entire process because "i guess we just feel differently about commitments," and because of beatle's "blatant flaws in reasoning." that certainly sounds even-toned and objective, doesn't it?

or are you just looking for a way to feel better about yourself when you don't win? 'cause the whole thing was a sham anyway...

but i'm the bad seed, i guess, so i'll just butt out.

  4. No, I'm just ascertaining that the enforcement of rules is completely arbitrary and thus there are by definition no rules.

I declined the offer for an extra month that would have made a lot of difference for my pair because I honor the agreement I made when I entered the competition. I knew the rules and so did and do everyone else.

I was sick for over a week but took time and effort to go out in the cold and in the middle of the days so I could make the deadline, because I feel that I should have no special treatment, and now I'm sick again because of it.

I guess we just feel different about commitments.

It's been made clear that I don't get to decide, nor does logic, but I will at my leisure point out the blatant flaws in reasoning, which are fact.

Because of the exceptions that have already been made, people should be able to post whenever they want.

Congratulations! You've managed to ruin (yet again) a perfectly reasonable argument by behaving like a whiny little baby.

Two things to keep in mind before you again let fly with your self-righteousness:

    • The spirit of a rule is not the same as the letter of that rule.
    • Sportsmanship.
