  1. they've got several vintage Champion crewnecks/hoodies for only $25. only in smalls and medium though :( also did anyone see the selvedge jeans on the wall of the middle of the spiral staircase area with the 34095830495830 inch inseam? any info on these?

Hah if it's what I'm thinking of, I believe those have actually been there for years upon years and isn't new to the exhibit. I do want one of those Champion sweaters though and I actually AM a small :)

  2. I'm pissed that this went up while i'm in Tokyo, i'm going the second i get back to San Francisco. I bet there was some rare stuff put up for the collectors that's already gone.

I only went this week and I agree. Just judging by some pictures it looks as if there was a lot more rare collector pieces and even not-so-rare items that are, in itself awesome.

I don't know how long it runs until but seeing as the website isn't even up yet, I'm hoping it will be for a while.

  3. I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but Levi's flagship store in San Francisco Union Square has a new-ish exhibit/section on the ground floor called One Trip Pass, Stars and Stripes. Basically they asked a guy to drive all around the US and pick up a bunch of Americana themed items for their store. I've been loving the whole Go Forth campaign so far since what better brand is there to inspire American pride than Levi's? The stuff for sale there is incredible so I suggest everyone who can to visit. Frankly, most of the stuff are completely affordable too. Little trinkets as cheap as $1.50 and jackets and stuff around $35. I'm sure they had some expensive items as well but I didn't really bother.

Here's a blog w/ some pictures of the display and items for sale.

  4. The 506xx (type 1) is still made in the States, as far as I know, lined or unlined. If you want an earlier Valencia street 555 model, then Ebay has 'em now and again, or keep your eye on 'supermarket'. :)

Cool, thanks. Are there any online stores that have them or stores that have them in stock? I'm not necessarily looking for Valencia models as I'm sure that'll cost a pretty penny.

  5. I haven't been on Superfuture in what feels like a year but I was just wondering where people were still buying LVC stuff? I'm specifically looking for a repro trucker jacket like the Type I. Preferrably an American edition one? I know cultizm has a couple but they're Euro edition and the unlined one isn't available in my size. I live in the SF area too but they no longer seem to have an LVC or a Capital E section anymore.

  6. Hahaha, i loved that video. I laughed more in that video than in Tropic Thunder.

Anyways... as for the next movie. I think Man-Bat would make sense as one of the next villians simply because of how TDK ended, not so much because I think he'd be an amazing villian. They're going to place the blame on Batman for the deaths so then in the next movie there will be a bat-like person running around continuing to kill innocent people. The media will just run wild with the story with people being "witnesses" to Batman killing people.

  7. This might be a dumb question, but I simply haven't been keeping up w/ denim as much as I used to. Anyways, I'm somewhat set on Sugarcane Okinawa's being my next pair of denim. I pretty much made this decision a while ago (though Flatheads have been tempting lately) and a part of my decision was based on the fact that they came in a nice bag and smelled sweet (the other being I wanted a Levi's repro). Anyways, I was just wondering if it still came in the bag and/or still smelled as wonderful as I heard it did in 2006.

  8. these jeans are now painfully tight-a couple of post soak pics:

Nice fit. Excited to see how they turn out. Maybe a fit pic w/ shoes on? Shoes sometimes make stacks look too much. And if you wear them w/ heels or flip flops regularly you probably wouldn't want a stack at all.
