I've had my beeswax DB's for about a year now and as I'm sure anyone who's owned a pair knows, they tend to lose that waxy texture they came with after a bit of time.

A few folks have told me that it's possible to re-wax them and seeing as winter is coming up I thought it a good idea.

What I'd like to know is whether or not anyone here has an experience with re-waxing. I did a few google searches and have searched these forums as well to no avail.

Would love thoughts/opinions and seeing as this is superfuture, negativity in some form is always expected.

Invicta makes nice divers, decent quality for the price. Governator Arnold is a big Invicta fan. most invictas are 53mm w/o crown. Also check out U-Boat - they have 45, 50 and 55 mm models. I personally would go for Panerai, but again you are looking at $4.5k+

Yeah I've got relatively small wrists as well. Even my Air King at 36mm doesn't look too small. 40 should be perfect. Love westcoastime as well.

How's the O&W Diver? Been scouring the web for reasonably priced divers and I'm thinking I might like to go with something other than the usual Seiko SNK, etc.

I know I'm gonna catch hate for this, and yeah, they are cute, but it's a shame that they've been bred to be so unhealthy just so they can be fashion accessories for a lot of people... They tend to live fairly short and uncomfortable lives, and most of the desired features accentuate most of their health problems. My wife's a vet tech and we know a handful of breeders that focus on Frenchies because demand is so high, and none of them really give a fuck how unhealthy the animal is (or how bad their living conditions are when they're used as breeding dogs) they just know that people will pay thousands for 'em... I'm sure you already checked it out, but you can't even let them outside for very long or they'll get overheated and die cause they can't breathe well enough to regulate their own body temp. At least they generally have pretty good temperament...

I hear you about health problems and such being a downer. While I feel bad for the dogs, I'm torn as to what the solution is. Do you boycott breeders by not purchasing the pups (only to have the next person in line pick one up) or do you bite the bullet, buy a puppy and aim to provide for it to the best of your abilities, hopefully giving it the opportunity to lead a fulfilling, happy life. Whether or not you buy a French Bulldog, the sad truth is that somebody else will. At least most people who love dogs will do their best to make the dog's life comfortable.

The SNDA is a pretty handsome watch. Definitely wish it were an automatic and not quartz...if I ever have an extra bill or two laying around I'd probably pull the trigger just because it's such a nice looking watch.

Nothin wrong with a good pair of APC's. They're good jeans. But it's good to branch out once in awhile.
