Well, like I said, it was over a year ago. I guess what I really want to stress is there is only one Cultpop who ownes his own studio. That is exciting and I am sure affords you a huge amount of enviably freedom in your life. I mean that honestly because I do think you have style and are no doubt a unique person. I just worry that a 15 year olds see you or say Tommy Lee or any actor, artist etc and thinks that if they get neck tats etc. they will be just like them or by proxy be as cool as they are. It ain't the tats that make you unique or successful, it is the person and that person who is successful and unique has afforded himself the luxury of bucking the system and freeing himself from the chains of society. Peace.

its not 1980 anymore. texas must be a different country or something.
Actually, the United States and political climate is much more conservative today than it was in 1980 in and out of the state of Texas.

This was also somewhat in jest and in defense of another poster who had called me a square and I will again repeat, it is not the artwork that I appose, nor am I offended by the adornment of the skin, I just think it is a bad idea. What i destest is young people who are not informed or overly ideal, limiting themselves right off the bat. It is very easy to go to previous postings over a year old a pull comment to defend a postition, it is also kind of lame. I have seen you do this before and not very convincingly. I have over 800 posts and I'm sure I have contridicted myself on occasion, most people do. I enjoy a good debate and would call this the farthest thing from a flamewar. I really don't do flame wars. As long as you stick to the facts, don't outright insult or use lame tactics it is all good.

::cough cough cough::
I have not criticized other than a comment made in jest in defense of myself, you are excused.

how are those tps reports coming dam?
my bartender comment was in jest and in defense of this comment made toward me.
i will admit tattoos can put some limitations on your opportunities depending on where you get them but no more so than a narrow world view and uptight attittude can (or living in texas for that matter).
you just proved my other point with the above statement. I didn't make the rules, I just live in the world. If you read closer you would see that I actually commented on how much I liked some of his tattoos and I don't have anything personal against them. My only point is that they will limit your options in a world that I agree with you... is close minded. I come to the tattoo thread because I do appreciate the art, but like to remind 15 year olds that when you get alittle older you might regret it. As much as you would like to think it not so, one day you age will outgrow your tattoos and you will no longer look as cool as you once did. The truth does hurt and I am sorry for that.
"doctors, lawyers, ceos, etc"
Another point proven, the majority of us will not become one of the above, we will have to function in a world with a set of rules and expectations that do not include full sleeve and neck tattoos. It is just the facts and it is not exclusive to Texas.
Additionally, my above comment regarding limiting you life was directed to an early thread where a poster said that he intentionally got certain tattoos so that he would not become one of the mainstream type "office worker" crowd and I was simply agreeing with him that his plan would be effective.

I really like them when they are starched up. That is how they were intended to be worn, (they are uniform pants). I starch the hell out of mine but without a crease. I think they look the best that way with work boots.

I am also a great big ole fan of WWII khaki. I have about 6 pair of originals and I have to tell you, those Rickson's are actually made better than the originals. Most of the originals were made in a very hasty fashion. The full cut to me is awesome and I think they look great. I wear mine with red wing boots and I cuff them most of the time as well. They can be dressed up on or down with a T shirt. Best of all, they are tolerable in the summer heat.

jeff zuck kills. i have been following his work for a while. i especially like the forearm stuff. and is that a morrisey tattoo? awesome.
true. having a closed mind can also be pretty limiting in society. some people just dont get it.
there are also plenty of things you can do besides work in crappy office.
how are those tps reports coming dam?
Would not know what a TPS report is to honest with you. And truth be told, I quite like you tattoos, especially the boxers..having done quite a bit of boxing in my younger days. There are plenty of jobs other than office jobs, it just so happens that most of them don't pay as well. And the ones that do are not very plentiful. You would never be able to get the job I have unless you wore long sleeves everyday and albeit it is in an air conditioned office, it is far from crappy and would be most appealing to creative types including myself. It is however, a very conservative accounting firm and in Texas, so you would be quite uncomfortable not being able to wear short sleeves. I suppose if you own your own art gallery like cult or if you are in a rock and roll band or a bartender at a trendy night club you could do fine, but as I said...those jobs are not realistic to the majority of people. I am just stating facts I have learned in my 38 years. That much ink will limit your possiblities in life..period. If it is you goal to limit your life then go for it. Committing to not being something by use of ink certainly is going to work. No arguement there.
By the way..be nice or I won't tip you next time I order a beer.

Saw Inside Man and the Proposition recently. Inside Man was really good, and I think from what I remember the marketing sucked. The movie was really well written and put together.
The Proposition was too short, I wanted more long Sergio Leone type shots of water dripping and people just sitting around doing nothing. Other than that it was excellent.
I saw that movie too and I thought it was chocked full of people doing nothing. It was pretty good but started to grate on my nerves and I wanted it to be over.

to be fair, i wouldnt exactly call it spam cos he's offering products most people here constantly ask "where can I find?"
anyway, hopefully there will be some discount for SFers or something
I don't actually think he is spamming. I have reccomend him on several posts because I have bought from his extensively and he is a really nice dude with good prices and very fast shipping. I have bought 4 pairs of jeans from him and have been very happy with all aspects of my purchases.

remember to post pictures in the pick-up post so we can comment on the fit!
I have unique insight into this..my ex wife had a small bust (albeit quite attractive) and wore padded tops. They looked ok though I did not prefer them. However, she like to swim and when they get wet...bad bad look. Many men, including myself like small busts on women and I think just go natural and be confident.

OK folks...big one here. First some background. I had a finance company that owed me $1500 bucks, the reason is not interesting or important. Suffice to say they owed it to me and have not paid me for 6 months. After filing with the BB bureau and called the state attorney general of consumer protection to get some satisfaction this is what I woke up to about 3 weeks ago. They had actually agreed to pay me and said that the money would be directly deposited to my account. Well, I wake up and check my balance of the account that I paid bills from (not the one where the bulk of my money is) to find that they had actually debited me $1500 bucks. So now, they owe me $3000 plus $180 for insufficent funds charges that added up because of bills I had paid earlier that week. Well, after another week of calling them they finally paid the 3k but did not refund my $180. 3 more days of calling and I wake up this morning to find that they have credited the $180 to my account finally. Except one thing, the credited me another $1500 bucks that they did not actually owe me. This is a problem with their accounting dept and they will never catch it. I know they never will because they are completely inept at everthing they do. Additionally, they could not get it back if they wanted to because they are blocked from debiting anymore $$ from my account. Question, should I keep it? Insert- wicked smile- here.

I don't think the cuff pants look have ever been mainstream in the first place since 1955. When walking down the street how many people do you actually see with cuffs or even turnups. So it follows that it can't really be out if it was never in. That being said, I am 5' 7" so I will probably cuff my jeans until I die because every pair I have is too long and I have no inclination to get them hemmed even if I knew where to get it done properly.
