  2. Im also wondering this, If Im roughly a 31" waist, would a 30 fit ok, or would I need to size up. Really digging those red ones.

the gambler chinos stretch a lot after the first wear. my 30s are like a 32 now. they're also a lower rise than the highwayman pant. i've been going true to size with no problems.

  3. i have had work done with rubendall. i was recommend to look to shigji.

deff want a piece done tebori style. how do you like shigji? is language a barrier?

shinji is great to work with. no real language barrier to speak of. you can tell he puts a lot of thought into his tattoos and the process - been working with him for close to 3 years now and he couldn't come more highly recommended

  4. some progress pics of my leg (shinji @ ny adorned). sorry for the large pics but the last time i posted pics someone asked for a better view of the details.

  5. Jap work-wise, Horiyoshi III is one of the masters, dude has a huge body of work, at the forefront for traditional Japanese tattooing:

Someone already mentioned Shige, super vibrant and detailed work, more of a modern approach:

Can't talk Japanese without mentioning Mike Rubendall:

+ a personal favorite, Matt Shamah. Does rad, dark traditional American tattoos, plus really bold and classic Japanese work. Daniel Albrigo's back:

Not at all comprehensive, but some of the more well known people doing amazing work.

Thanks - already familiar with all the artists you mentioned. actually have a couple of pieces by rubendall myself. great guy to work with.

  6. peep Shige at Yellowblaze Tattoo. the link is somewhere buried in this thread

Thanks - already know about shige. any other recommendations?

doesn't have to be actual tattoos - paintings, prints, etc.

  7. any recommendations for good online image references for japanese back pieces? or artists who have a lot of back pieces in their online portfolios?

looking for inspiration - something that would flow well with my other work (hannya and snake, skulls, severed head and snake)

  8. Please pay as a gift via paypal or add 4%

TOJ black oxford from the original run of TOJ shirts. Loose buttons have been reinforced and extra buttons that came with the shirt will be provided. Measurements are the same as on the TOJ chart.

Worn 1x then washed and hung dry. The arms are just a touch too tight in the forearm which is the only reason I'm selling. Hoping the cuff pleats in the new version will work out better.

    Sold

  9. i happen to have a pair of 29x30 in khaki that are just a bit too form fitting for my liking (normally a 30) so they never get any wear. actual waist measures out to 30". lightly worn a handful of times then put away. $32 shipped in the US.
