Warehouse Duckdigger 1920's, but I'd get them in my true waist size (the ones I have now are 2 sizes bigger, yet still look great)
Ultra comfy, ultra dark, and a bit flashy... gotta love 'em

If you looked at the fading properties of the flagship models alone, you would already learn alot about those five brands. This is my guesstimate at the speed that each of theose jeans wears down at:
slowest to fastest:
Evisu - 2000
Studio D'artisan - SD101
Fullcount - 1101
Denime - XX Type
Warehouse - 1000xx

It'd be hard for me to tell without touching the denim to know if those are necessarily real. However, the model does exist and it's possible that the reason there's no selvage is that it's a bootcut model (most bootcut jeans don't have the selvage because of how the legs are shaped).
As others have said, cotton coming out of the rivets is normal and in fact, is done on purpose to mimic old production methods.
This is a link to a newer version of the same jeans on 2nd: http://item.rakuten.co.jp/2nd/fh-1007/

Death Note, despite the assoication with the Hot Topic set (ugh), is actually quite excellent. I really like the illustration style and it's got some great twists and cliffhangers.

I nominate Paul T and his fantastic book
I would also go ahead and nominate Ralph Lauren. Hard to talk about modern American clothing without mentioning him.

SI has been kicking ass so far. FC, not so much... there's already talk of fill in artists and delays and it hasen't even hit the stands yet!
As for the Spirit movie... it's pretty much Sin City 1.5. I'm more than glad to see another movie done up in the this style, but I don't know that they should pretend that this is anything more than Frank Miller's version of the spirit, not Eisner's.

Anyone care to enlighten me on the differences (besides the tab and patch?) Has the denim changed at all?

I know a few people have already done this on the board, but I am VERY excited for the Ray Ban Wayfarers I got turned into glasses... having it done at Moscot. I tried on some of the Moscot Originals and they didn't really fit my face (looked too dark, mostly because the lenses were sort of small on me)
Also, I preferred the weight of the wayfarers. Plus, they've got a new Rx in them (I haven't had mine updated for like 4-5 years)

UPDATE: Pics and measurements. Paypal only, please.
Nice jeans, but I'm looking to unclutter my closet a bit. Jeans have been washed once. Worn for maybe 1 - 1.5 months total. Faint fading on the right back pocket. These were from the first wave of NDG Grey Jeans (FW 06-07, I believe).
First two pics best represent color in daytime, but the great thing about these guys is that they look pretty different in day and night...
Looking to get $150 plus shipping
Waist: 14.8 in.
Rise: 10 in.
Inseam: 32 in.
Upper thigh: 9 in.
hem: 7.25 in.

wow, looking at my 2 y.o. posts is quite enlightening... if I could message my past self, I would say the following:
yes, there is a difference in the weights: heavier denim doesn't crease as sharply as lighter denim, but extremely light denim doesn't hold creases as well as heavier denim. therefore, only fade patterns would be affected. Color, contrast and durability are other factors that are (to some extent) independent of weight.

didn't he do 2046 as well?

another bump for this fellow. sorry if the spot is blown, but he has some GREAT stuff... once saw a pari of RAW LVC coveralls... they never actually sold them raw in stores.

they shrink a bit after the first wash, but they stretch quite a bit (much like nudies, I'd imagine. never owned a pair of regular nudies so I couldn't say for sure). plus, the only significant shrinkage is going to be more in the inseam rather than the waist.
if you could manage to size down one, I'd recommend doing that rather than relying on a wash to shrink them. I've worn mine pretty hard and while they do srhink after washes, they stretch right back out after like 5 wears.

Buying a second pair of the same jeans

I have this mental image of that drawer in spy movies that has passports, foreign currency, and a gun... except in addition to all that, there's three pairs of jeans.
