what i like about stone is that they always come up with some new material for their jackets. they are sickening! same thing with cp. nobody gets it or wear it here in toronto. a store called harry rose sold some cp years ago. harry sells mostly suits and fancy italian sports wear for the business professionals like cole haan, allen edmonds, boss, zegna and all that commercial fodder.......

it is very heavy and dark. not for the faint hearted. no drums just a lot of super heavy drone like heavy and crippling doom metal manipulated over these powerful amps called sunn amps.

it boggles your mind what mat still has left in his personal collection. all the vintage army gear in claxon is from his personal collection. mat spent mad time and devotion on gathering all this shit together. and all in this amazing condition. sure you can go to your local kensington market and pick up all this gear for peanuts compared to claxon howl but the shit probably has hidden holes, tears, and rips and it probably stinks too. the stuff from c.l. smells nice and are in virtual mint condition.

fully stocked for the fall and winter. gorgeous stone island jackets and a sickening down filled jacket that is mega lite. and again tons of army gear from ww 2 to the korean war. all in near dead stock condition. the store also has tons of vintage home furnishing stuff. lights, coffee makers, rugs from the navajo.......

if i had money to burn and i wanted the gear nobody has, there is only one choice in toronto : claxon howl.

get the bloody nikon D 50 for a good but cheap pro consumer camera. don't get olympus, they have very slow lag/buffer time.

i tried them on at nomad here in toronto and they are just like any xcr gore tex jackets. the only difference is the name and maybe the unique designs of the jackets. they are very expensive!

i was close to getting one but it was too much when i think back on it.
