Samurai T-Shirt Fiesta & New Uguisu Denim Jeans! Samurai’s Uguisu denim is finally here. The S0150GNX jean is made of Samurai's newest in-house developed denim, the 17oz left hand twill Uguisu denim. These are made into their classic straight leg fit and finished with custom iron buttons and a very nice jacquard finishing fabric on the inside. Samurai’s ZERO FABRIC t-shirts are now available in natural, kuromame (black soybean dyed, and kuri (brown chestnut dyed) all in plain and pocket versions! Samurai has done a crazy but beautiful thing.. In 2010 they bought a small farm outside Osaka, Japan, with the hopes they would be able to grow their own cotton with the intention of one day being able to make garments made of their own cotton, as in a truly vertically made garment. After thirteen years they've been able to grow enough cotton to make t-shirts and of course they're as beautiful as the story behind them. The cotton is minimally processed in very small batches without the use of any harsh cleaning or whitening agents, also all fractured cotton seeds and all staple lengths are left in the cotton during the carding and spinning process for a truly unique fabric. We can really say we’ve never felt or seen a cotton jersey like this from any company. The natural ones are made of a completely untreated cotton and the “kuromame” have been given a long bath in a locally grown kuromame (black soybean) “soup” to achieve the dark charcoal color while the “kuri” tees have been soaked in a chestnut “soup” to achieve their unique shade of dark brown. Studio D'Artisan Kurozome & Loopwheeled T-Shirts, Fox Fiber Jeans, & Sashiko Shirts We know you’ve always wanted a betel nut dyed t-shirt and we’re happy that Studio D’Artisan is here to fill that need. Dyed using the Kurozome method from Kyoto which creates the “blackest black” using only natural dyes, done here in a gradient pattern by Kyoto Montsuki, a century old dye-house founded in 1915. The Studio D’Artisan LYSERGIC shirt has also landed. This is a real wild one, with a serious amount of work put into the fabric for it to look and feel the way it does. Made of slub cotton fibers which are pure indigo dyed then dobby loom woven and finished with tagua nut buttons. The Shinki semi-aniline finished horsehide, the custom zippers and snaps, the original Flat Head liner, and the toned down look due to the removal of the epaulets and belt make this one amazing jacket. Stevenson Overall Co. Spring Collection - Delivery Two Stevenson Overall Co.’s new collection is here! First up we have the Linesman chore jacket with four patch pockets on the front, inspired by the basic style of vintage coveralls. The lower front pockets are double layered and equipped with hand pockets. The fabric is made of a 10.6oz cotton duck fabric with a rough texture using uneven yarns for maximum character. The texture and look of the fabric will improve with repeated wear and washing over time. We also have a new jean made of a new denim! These are made out of a newly developed unsanforized loomstate 13oz Japanese selvedge denim then factory rinsed to get rid of most of the shrinking properties of the fabric then single-needle stitched throughout. These come in a classic straight leg fit. Stevenson's newest flannel release is this "shadow check" fabric with a long, brushed texture, otherwise known as a "shaggy flannel". This is done for both comfort and to increase wind resistance. These are expertly sewn and finished with hand-made (made in USA) concho buttons. Poten Summer Collection of Japanese Baseball Caps Poten’s new summer collection is here and some caps are now available in an adjustable style! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This season we see Poten doing two fitted caps in Military Black and Twisted Yarn Green and two adjustable caps in Ripstop Beige and Indigo Denim. These hats are crazy nice, nicer than any other straight ahead baseball cap we've ever seen. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Every cap style has a super soft and supple inner leather headband which has been lightly treated so it’s not destroyed by sweat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The caps have zero exterior branding except for the stitches which you can see from the top of the crown from the interior branding tags being sewn into the center of the crown. The cap has a medium height crown and the brim has a medium length to it with 19 concentric stitches which feel and look pretty cool in person.
