  1. NOOOOOO!!!!!!

so i was gonna go meet a couple of friends for lunch today then it started raining while i was walking there, so i started running to avoid the rain (completely ignoring my own advice: 'only suckers run') so i slip, fall and bust up my knee and hip, nothing serious just some pain. then i look down and realize that the knee on my evisu is wrecked, giant hole, so hopefully i can get this fixed but it might be new jeans time. seoul is too cold during the winter to go around with a big ass hole on my knee.

  2. i havent watched boxing in a long time, and i still havent watched this fight yet. but i remember margarito having a really strong chin, like the type of dude that 'blocks punches with his face' so no one could really see that type of fighter beating pacquiao.

  3. just moved into a new place, and for some reason my internet just stopped working, so i started stealing some wireless, and the signal has a parental block on it. not cool, i want to look at adult oriented materials in the privacy of my own place. damn you whoever set that up!!!

  4. i was wondering, do the smaller brands represent at this thing? i found a pair that i really want from this one brand ive never heard of, knucklehead denim, so i was wondering if they are there, and one of you is there to provide some review let me know

  5. so i was out looking for a dressy coat for my new job today, and i got distracted and ended up at like only store ive seen in seoul that has the weavers, and i checked the price. 230,000 won, or 203 dollars. WTF!? i havent bought many pairs of shoes while here so i didnt think the mark up would be that high. i know everything is marked but still, damn

  6. ^ thanks alot man, but unfortunately i dont read japanese.

but also is it near like a huge amount of other stores. while i do want to check out the nylon/real mccoy stuff. i also want to check out other brands as well (not well known as well as 'mainstream' brands like edwin)

and yeah that orange street in osaka is a great place to look. (i was there like a year and a half ago, great stuff)

    [edit]

oh i just checked google translate, and most of the other spots seem to be near this store (which makes sense) now i just need to figure out how to get there, but i think ill have time for that later.

  7. catch up time!

For those asking about the teaching job. It's only a 6 month thing that pays for housing/plane ticket. I'm only 20 and transferring to a university next fall, so I'm taking the 6 months off to do this.

It pays pretty weak; 1.5k a month. But it only requires you to have a year or two in college, so not too shabby. My income will be spent entirely on soju.

    welcome to the club man!

banana ketchup is the good stuff. it's sweet and goes amazingly with eggs.

ive never had this before, so is it tomato with bananas?

why do half-assed girls diss you more then cute girls do? i'll never understand that one.

hmm... in my experience half assed girls are usually DTF, and the cute ones are more of a hassle.

Dominoes 6 cheese pizza is so fucking delicious.

that sounds really fucking good. cheese is so overpriced here in korea that i think that a pizza with 6 cheeses would be in the $50 range

    ^^

    First world problems.

(Who was it that came up with that term?)

    or

96 Honda accord black for 1800?

possibly able to cut a deal with both sellers...

i dont know shit about hondas but the '94. the last car i drove before leaving america was a '94 so im gonna lean that way.

Competed in my first MMA tournament a few days ago!

Smoked a dude in 20 seconds then got beat by this guy after outclassing him for 5 mins :(

followed instructions, actually liked what i heard, it kinda made me feel nostalgic.

any way i was so stressed out. i got hired by this company a week ago tell me that i would start Nov 1st, then i get a call today from them telling me that they are not gonna be able to hire me. i tell the manager of the company to talk to the owner again to see what they could do, cause ive already signed contracts and what not. the call me back an hour later telling me that they will hire me. its like what the fuck, if you guys keep playing with my emotions like that some one is liable to get knocked out (metaphorically speaking that is....)

  8. while everyone is on the subject missA, i do have something i want to add

so i was talking to one of my friends the other day and i told him that i thought min was the hottest one in missA, and he tells me that she was brought in cause her look/style, whatever, appeals to non-koreans.

then i was watching tv with a friend and the video comes on and i told this other friend the same thing, that i though min was the hottest, and she responds that she looks trashy.

ive also noticed that all of you guys constantly tout the merits of suzy, while i think she is just meh.

so is there something to the 'mins look is geared toward western tastes' thing?

  9. when i was a little kid my dad lost his job, and wasnt able for find work for almost a year. during this time my dad went to a mexican 'witch doctor' who told him that someone was jealous of his good fortune and placed a curse on him. the witch doctor then lifts the curse and my dad said he found a really good job after that (0)

after having some of the shittiest past months of my life recently i really wish i could find this witch doctor myself, cause after all of this bad luck ive been going through this has got to be some form of curse as well.

shit. (this will forever be known as my 3000th post)

  10. silkworm pupa (cant get past the smell)

it took me over a year to get past the smell, i finally had this recently and i was surprised cause it tasted familiar but i cant place what it tasted like.

the friend that convinced me to try this is trying to get me to join him to try dog soup, and after all of his talking it up, im pretty sure its gonna happen.

there is still alot of stuff that i havent tried but am curious to try.

like a few months back when i was in vietnam i had the chance to try cobra, and i couldnt bring myself to pay the price that this place was charging, so i owe myself that one. i did try the boar though which i really liked, even though i dont think boar is that weird, it was crispy and good.

i still want to try horse, deer, and maybe bear.

i did have a discussion with a friend the other day that people are usually not eager to eat pretty animals just ugly ones, so who is gonna find out what tiger/lion , peacock or swan, and zebra taste like.

also im completely surprised that i havent tried ostrich yet, it just seems like something that i would have done by now.

  11. people who chew with their goddamn mouth open, making smacking noises and shit

    so fucking annoying

haha i had an old co-worker who chews with his mouth open. one day one of my other co-workers leans into me and she says 'some one should tell him to stop cause it sounds like he is sucking dick' i always found that hilarious.

but yeah that sound is not cool

  12. bump.

im actually kinda scared, ive lost an exaggerated amount of weight since coming back to seoul, i have been eating less than i want but damn.

im 5'9 and 165, 6 weeks ago i was at 182ish. i need more good food in my life soon.

i guess that i should see this as a good thing cause at my peak i was at 245, but not if im losing weight at an unhealthy rate

  13. no longer employed, i'm coppin a fifth and a 20pc bucket

    oh yeah buy my shit!

ive been unemployed for 7 months now, im in full on panic mode. i actually just send an email to my parents saying that if i cant find anything in 3 weeks that im going to have to move back in with them. fuck

wish you better luck than ive had mass

  14. i don't agree, but KFC outside america is far superior than KFC in america. KFC in vietnam was dope

2 exceptions. (1) the potato wedges you get in america are far superior to the flimsy fries you get everywhere else. (2) kfc in korea sucks.

like ive posted before every new country i visit must include a trip to kfc.

i went to the kfc in malaysia and i got the chicken meatball soup and the lemongrass infused chicken rice, both good as hell. the one in hong kong is still my favorite, the chicken sammich i got was sweet and spicy, so good. the one in the czech republic has spicy stuff under the skin, which was so good. the one in seoul had cold corn salad :(

  15. so im staying with a friend right now for the mean time, while i figure out a housing situation, and i just kinda looked through some cabinets to find something to eat, and she has a legit candy drawer, like starbursts, caramels, kisses, some gummy peaches, she even has pop rocks. damn this sweet tooth of mind cause i feel kinds sick now, hopefully she doesnt realize how much i actually took, a little of everything.
