i don't have any measurements, but i can compare it to the fits of some other brands. The w&h hoodie is almost the exact same size as a penguin hoodie (so it fits on the belt line, and the arms are slightly longer than the body). For reference, I am 6'0 and 160 lbs, and i usually like athletic cuts because they are tight on the body and sit on the belt line and the hoddie fits me perfectly. If you wear anything "euro" or "slim" or "athletic cut" then this is the same deal.

the nom de guerre t-shirt is smaller than a conventional large, but it would be a fuller, looser fit on a medium. it's practically identical to an evisu or diesel large: it would be a slight athletic cut (but the sleeves arent tapered) on a true large, and a tiny bit larger than normal fit with the bottom sitting 2 or 3 inches below the belt line for me (i'm 6'0).

    hope this helps.

p.s. any circles or light spots are all from dust on the lens, all three of the items are 100% deadstock.

  2. all the following are brand new with tags, purchased from nom de guerre on christmas eve.

up for sale is an earnest sewn "rollo" size 33. it is a dry denim (with a few wrinkles near the bottom cuffs, but nowhere near distressed) with half selvage on the inseam. normal straight fit with a very slight bootcut, it is most similar to a straight leg. what really makes this pair of jeans special however, is that the upper lip is lined with selvage, as well as coin-pocket and belt-loops. also it is a cinchback, meaning so it can comfortably fit 34 or 32 easily. an realllllly nice pair of jeans, i bought the same in a 32.

also, i have a large nom de guerre arabic tee in white with blue letters. you all know this shirt, haha, it's one of the more popular nom de guerre tees. it will fit a normal fit medium, slim fit large.

lastly, a gorgeous wings and horns black hoodie medium. it is a true fitting medium. very heavy cotton with a a leather tie on the double zipper. there is a w&h logo printed on the inside back of the hoodie. i really don't want to sell this, i might have to though if the offer is good enough.

  3. what do you prefer? i personally like half a lot more (i currently own a pair of lees and earnest sewns with half selvage), and i was wondering what brands have some nice half selvage models. thanks in advance

  4. i got them as a christmas gift from my sister, and they are awesome but currently ive only been wearing raw denim exclusively. They were both purchased from Nom De Guerre in NYC (tags still attached and she even gave me the receipt), both are a size 32 (the inseam is about 35). One is "Sniper" and the other is "Stasis," both are dark single-washed mid-rise straight leg cuts. Any realistic offers (cash or trade) are appreciated, thanks for looking. (Meetups/trades in NYC are fine).

edit: i also have 2 pairs of seven for all mankinds, one is a straight, regular blue and the other is a baggy, hip hugger black, both are distressed. i am pretty much getting rid of any of my distressed denim.

  5. haha that dorm looks exactly like my dorm room last year... warren towers perhaps? if thats the case then dont go to dellaria's they will just overcharge you and its horrible (i went there for my fauxhawk and it was disgustingly bad). hairfx is a lot better and its only 25 bucks for a wash and cut/style.

  6. like the title says, i would like to know if it's possible to return the shine to raw denim that's been washed in cold water with no detergent and hung dry. (the type of denim in particular is nudie raw black). i hear its possible and i simply need to get some sweat/oils on it via natural wearing (maybe another 5 months without washing?), but i.ve also heard that once raw denim gets washed it.s nearly impossible to get that grayish luster back. thanks in advance for your help.

  7. club monaco fake selvedge will drop this fall too. HOORAY all the outlet malls in suburbia with club monaco stores will make sure to spread the trend.

looks like selvedge (or fake selvedge) will become widespread so i think we should go and start a new denimhead trend: high high high waisted jeans (like a 13 inch rise) with extra saggy baggy ass (i call it the mom cut). we can cuff the legs like 6 inchesand wear white tubesocks and black loafers. who.s with me?

  8. "blah blah blah what a goober" wow who gives a shit. i don.t like his clothes at all but i.m not gonna go around calling a multimillionaire an idiot. when you come out with whatever clothing line and make hundreds of millions off of it maybe you can give everyone some style tips so people can hate on you too.

  9. duuuuuuude i have never seen that before. i say try and return them. i just got a pair of travailles at the mercer street shop, but before i got them i tried a pair of rescues on in a 30 (i am usually a 31 32 and i like a tight fit). they were like spandex (rescues obviously are a lot more true to size than i thought) and they never did anything like that o_O i def think you should try to exchange them

  10. how does the varvatos regular "5-pocket raw" jean fit? i like a snugger fit, friends have told me since the jeans are italian crafted to go up 1 inch in size to accomodate for the shrinking and european cut. any help is appreciated, thanks.

  11. woejozny atrium on broadway (right across the street from nom de guerre) has blueblood up the butt. you can find dry, for our friends, whatever you want. blueblood isn.t that rare at all in the states, you can find them in a lot of boutiques.

  12. a lot of the issues are on the nutsack of trendy "undergroundedness" (kaws, neckface etc.) but again that.s only their covers. for example the kaws issue which definitely went heavy on the kaws (toys, billboards, pieces, etc.) but there was decent amount of other stuff in it. my favorite was a spot on sam flores, who is SICK in my opinion. i would take a flores upper playground shirt over some hyped out ape redundance... but yeah they have some good stuff, and as a lot of people have said their cover features are starting to have more substance

  13. i am going to london for the first time in 16 years (me and my family were there when i was 3) so needless to say i don.t really know anything about what districts are the trendy ones, or where all the clubs, restaurants, or shops are. i would like to stay in a more hip neighborhood, but i am there for 6 days so i would like to devote a day or two to being touristy. any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

  14. my friends from sao paolo say that rio is really REALLY dangerous if you are an american tourist... they say sao paolo isn.t really that much better either (their families travel in bulletproof cars)

i always wanted to go to barcelona, shanghai, and sydney though... being near the water is a must o_O

haha huge fan of miami beach though... the best way to keep the glitz and glamour of new york while getting away from the grittiness and hustle and bustle

  16. i am an adamant fan of g-star... and honestly, grow up: if something is becoming more mainstream that doesn.t make it any "less cool" -- if you like the denim you like the denim. Their washes are characteristically more "industrial"; more slatey and stoney... their cuts also tend to be straight legged, a little sag but not particularly low on the hips, and they make a great cuff. if you want something besides the millions of 501xx repros out there (which i.m sure you do) g-star wouldn.t be a bad place to look.
