  1. Most stockists went into the sale a month or so back like End, Hanon, Tres. Think Sneakersnstuff is the only place to still have it as full price.

The swift tights are great, but don't expect the webbed print on the leggings to last longer than a few washes. The print on mine has already started to crack in places. It's to be expected really with the nature of material paint on that type of material.

Yup. This is exactly the reason I needed a second pair.... The in-line ones are wearing pretty thin at this point, though, I try to infrequently wash some of my running stuff until it's completely necessary (usually just the jackets and leggings) It tends to break down quickly after repeated machine washes.

  2. are they good in a technical sense? i currently run in 2xu tights (long/short) and really like them!

I've used the regular in-line ones for two years and I love em... I spend a lot of time running around the river in portland so those little heat panel things really make a huge difference for me... that and the zippered pocket on the back is fucking perfect.

  3. Shorts are one step away from Juicy Couture... shame as I am after some short shorts for summer.

They're so good though! The branding is lame but it's not like you notice it while you're running... I was apprehensive at first but in person, its actually a lot more inconspicuous than you would think.

The swift leggings stretch nicely. I got large but I probably could have gotten away with medium.

I've been wearing them every day this week. Almost bought some of the shorts too, but couldn't get past that massive logo.

The Swift leggings are the fucking best.

Let's face it; some of us carry more in our wallets than others. So instead of over-burdening a wallet meant for carrying less [better known as the Costanza Dilemma], we designed - well, engineered is actually a better term - a silhouette that solves this problem. And solves it in a beautiful combination of form and function.

Like the laborer for which it is named, the Tradesman silhouette speaks to those who travel with a hefty set of essentials. It features a half-dozen card slots, two long pouches for cash and receipts and one long zippered pouch utilizing a premium Riri metal hardware. It's stout, but in a good way.

After being sold out for the past eight weeks, we're happy to re-introduce one of our most popular styles. The Tradesman is now available online and in-store in Indigo, Black, Russet, Natural and Oxblood.

  5. was there a recent price bump on 1.5'' tanner belts? could have sworn they were $88 a few months ago... it's been a while since I checked and tanner has gotten really popular so meh.

my 4 year old AE leather belt has dried out and started cracking after 1000+ uses. figured it would be a nice time to upgrade. so many pretty colors. debating between cognac, mahogany, saddle tan, & natural. the buckle finishes are really nice as well. can't wait to get my hands on one of these. :D

We've incrementally raised the price (and lowered others) as it becomes necessary over the last 6 years. The Standard belt has been $105 since last September but it only went up a few dollars. It has been around that cost for over a year. Before that, they were 98.00.

The price increases are just a necessary adjustment that happens in the manufacturing business due in part to the rising cost of labor and materials. It has previously been discussed pretty in-depth in other areas of this thread so I won't re-hash. If you would like to discuss it, go ahead and shoot us an email, [email protected] and Sarah would be more than happy to assist you.

Hope that helps, and thanks so much for your continued support!

  6. Need short swift tights, Lunar Spiders and mix shorts. Everything else from SS13 is mediocre, though, If I can find it on sale in size months, I wouldn't hesitate to cop a few things.

Anywhere in the US release stuff yet? All the stuff I wanted from Tres bien is sold out already.... also, when are the shorts dropping?

It's about that time friends. We've started taking delivery of new goods for the approaching Spring season and it all starts with a fresh batch of

14.75 oz Stanton denim for The Woodlands.

Based in Los Angeles, RGT is focused on hand-crafted denim and apparel expertly crafted from Japanese and American Cone Denim. As a special batch release for the shop, we used a hand-oiled natural patch with Tanner Goods that will age and patina just like the jeans themselves. We also stocked up on the trusty AR-G trousers which have quickly become a popular non-denim option.

Additionally, our friends from the Copenhagen based Norse Projects have shipped their first batch of new accessories including Melange and Boucle socks as well as headwear in a great assortment of seasonal colors and patterns.

  8. I figured this was a typical question, but do you guys shower with the bracelets on?

Don't recommend you do it with the Cast Silver bracelet. Straight leather should be fine.

Any clues as to when the epic Tradesman wallet might be coming back into the flock? I've got my heart set, but alas, once I had saved up the requisite pennies, it was off the website.

New zippers finally arrived today! We'll see about getting those back online soon.

My old style lanyard with the button broke. The botton sheered off. Email tanner goods and they were super helpful is getting it fixed quickly and efficiently!

    THANKS GUYS! 5stars 2thumbsup cheers!

    Good to hear!

  9. I like the functionality but tbh, there is one main area which they have neglected and that is in reflective materials. To date, the main reflective element has been the logo. I don't know if making the logo bigger is a response to the need for more reflectivity but I would like to see more work put into incorporating other design elements that catch light.

I have had to do a fair amount of night running over the last couple of months and I am by far the least visible person of those with whom I run. Blending in with the shadows is great for ninjas but not so great when dodging traffic.

All my Gyak is pretty goddamn bright... Also, I wear one of those cheeky Vaporflash running hats along with my Shield Max Lunarglides which are fucking bright as fuck when light hits em

  10. I run in head-to-toe Gyakusou 4-5 times a week, trails and streets, and it has never been an issue. You would be surprised how little people care about what others are wearing.

same here. Head to toe (aside from non UC Swift Tights and In-line shoes) 4-5 runs a week and the only people that even know what Gyak is in Portland work in the running category at the swoosh. Most people could care less. The functionality is the best part! Use this shit for what it was intended for.

  11. If anyones ladies looking to score a good sale, seams to fit in NW is having their superbowl sale all weekend.

High end consignment. Luxury and designer brands.

    (disclaimer-my spirit family owns it)

Nice. An old girlfriend. Katie used to work there for awhile.

  12. man after a month of being down south, i'm ready to be back in PDX. wonder what'll happen with that old blackbird space...

Pretty certain Revellie is moving into that spot. There is a lot of retail coming to Portland in the next 6-8 months. If you thought it was a destination this fall, wait 'til next..

    West end blowing up.
