  3. Thanks ringring, do you think those would have faded to a bluish color? I had considered bidding on those but do not really like black jeans.

  4. I recently got my first pair of selvage jeans. They are a one wash. They were only semi-stiff and lost it in a couple of days. They are developing creases but they are not extremely defined. Is starching the only way to get interesting wear? Or will leaving them as is still provide good results??

  5. I'm an extremely proud Marine and have seen celebs and people on the street wearing medals and ranks that I have earned, but I really don't take any sort of offense to it. If I had the choice I would prefer they wear military inspired clothing, but if they wear actual issued uniform items its not a big deal. Its all on how you look at it. I understand they are doing it, because they appreciate the whole military asthetic. Imo, so long as they are not trying to perpetrate themselves as something they are not I don't think it is a big deal. I do think some of them look a little stupid though, and I do think there should be consideration given to not wearing certain medals ie. The Medal of Honor, Purple Heart, Silver Star etc...

  9. I have a US issued goretex. They are for days that are not too cold and will keep you dry under minimal precipitation.

  13. I was considering purchasing a pair or Levi's 501 premium (the kind with the patches on them) and removing the patches. I like the way the fake hige and the color look but don't like the patches at all. The patches seem to be glued and sewn. Anyone have any experience/thoughts on this? Is there any possibility of doing this without leaving any residue? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
