Saw these at Saks...tried the regular one rinse model. Not impressed at all, especially for $300.
They also had washed/distressed models, and one with a buckleback which def would have been cooler if it were also a one rinse.
The fact that the guy that started Von Dutch is associated with this brand is a negative in my book. And the assumption that this will be worn by all the "stars" is the final nail in the proverbial coffin.

J Fold is a part of J Lindeberg? Didnt know that. I've had a J Fold wallet for a few years that is still my daily wallet. It was very inexpensive and has held up very well (Burgundy leather with navy stripe)

she is great, one of my fave artists and was one of my instructors in art school

avoid Merc suits....those are "beginner mod" suits who don't know better. Poly blend fabric and the cut is a bit weird, not flattering at all.
The upcoming Ben Sherman tailored line looks pretty good in photos but the jury is still out til I can see one in real life, but that may be another option.

Try Claudio at DNA Groove....he makes excellent mod suits for a good price. Unfortunately you won't be able to try them on but they are very good quality for the $$. If you have a good local tailor to do slight touch up alterations then you'll be set to go
DNA GROOVE
It will be very hard, if not impossible to find a local tailor that does MTM suits and knows enough of the mod aesthetic to get the details right. I live in LA and you'd think there'd be a tailor like that, but alas, no.

American Rag carries Edwin...but not APC
only place that had APC was Hollywood Trading Co on Beverly, then they transferred their stock to the HTC at Fred Segal, then it sold out. not sure if they ever got new stock

Evisu can be found at American Rag on La Brea or at Up Against the Wall in the Beverly Center...there might be some other small retailers on Melrose that sell Evisu but i wouldnt know which.
As for sneakers....there's a store next to American Rag that sells a lot of interesting looking sneakers and there are quite a few on the Melrose strip (like Sportie LA's 2 locations)

American Rag is def worth a trip, one of my single fave stores in town and i think you'd at least find the overall selection to be very good even if you don't find the exact pieces you are looking for.
Traffic has a great selection but their prices seem a tad high, compared to the same item i've seen elsewhere
personally am not into Michiko Yen or Fake London so can't help you there.
you might want to check out Alpha on Melrose (west of stores like Fred Segal/Miu Miu, right before the Pacific Design Center... about 20 feet from it)...havent had a chance to check it out but it's supposed to be quite a good store, but i'm not sure exactly what lines they carry.

there are prolly more Old Navy shoppers who can wear 48x30 than 28x32Quote:The smallest waist size they make is a 29.... I might be okay with that, but not with the 30 inch inseam. It's disgusting that they make 48x30 and not 28x32 or even 29x32.

you can't miss Cabazon from the 10 fwy so you dont need an address
it has a lot of "name brand" stores but I've always been disappointed with the selection and have never bought anything from there. Many labels make goods specifically to be sold in outlet malls which explains why there is so much garbage that you never saw in the real stores. But it's worth a look.
There is an Off Saks in Ontario Mills Mall (off the 10eastbound at Miliken, right next to fwy) that you could potentially hit up on the way to Cabazon without going out of the way
