I've really been enjoying my Qwstion backpack. Very clean design and easy to use.

So I bought mine about 4-5 years ago, maybe even longer, because I saw it in this thread.  What a testament to their quality that I returned to this thread years later to get ideas on a new one and this is one of the first posts I see!  Mine lasted a good while, especially after I took it with me all over the world and beat it up real bad.  I looked on the website to see what they have now and I was disappointed they didn't have the light brown one I got. I don't love the colors they have right now.  Anybody know when they update their inventory or get new colors?

  2. HA HA HA HA! Oh Brown! That is priceless, to showcase them by season...brilliant! If I have time I'll do the same with my collection. That said, I am happy to report that I have not bought a new pair since late summer last year. I can't believe this but I think I'm well on my way to recovery. I have no urge to buy anything new despite what I see here. In fact the only thing I think I'd want in the near future is a pair of Jins to round out my Samurai collection. And even that isn't a must-have. Look at me Brown, you CAN stop, it's possible! :-)

  3. Sometimes I go on shopping binges and buy from foreign websites like luisiaviaroma and rakuten. My fucking Chase Preferred Sapphire card thinks this is someone who has stolen my card and just shuts down my card without telling me. Twice now I've ended my binges at Barneys and right when I'm at the cashier in front of a long line is when I find out my card's been denied. Embarrassing.

  4. didn't know sufu had a male model thread... im surprised. i might post some boys.

please do!!...as a 100% gay boy with an extremely wide and broad range of tastes in all sizes, shapes and color I find the selection here of what sufu members regard as "beauty" abysmal! I wouldn't touch any of these boys with a 10 foot stick if you paid me $1000.

  5. I don't know if gilang slips under the radar sometimes but he is consistently one of the best posters on sufu. Great jeans and no nonsense.

slips under the radar?? I think he is the single best sufu guy here who has this mysterious way of producing that crinkly, marble-y fade. There's gotta be some secret formula he's keeping to himself. I look forward to his posts all the time so no way is he under the radar.

  6. you're my size except for 5 lbs lighter than me. I went for a size 30 (my normal size) but then sized up because I was afraid of shrinkage. Now I regret that. They sit lower on your hips so it's not totally insane to go up on the waist size but they sure slim down by the time it gets past your knees so take that into consideration too.

  7. eternals x BIG, pushing 2 years of moderate wear and a wash every few months. Here are two pics of it against the hardwood floor and a colored rug. For some reason my camera does this automatic color adjustment. The hardwood floor pic is the clearest but it's not accurate in color, the camera darkens it. I think the colored rug confuses the camera and keeps it from messing around with the true color:

  8. ^ Yeah, I recall there being someone who said he's gonna wear his n&f 32oz. It will be much more clear once the official thread is started and the roaster is written.

Early in this thread I had said I was going to wear the 32 oz N&Fs but that was before the start date was pushed back to April. I was hoping to get in some good winter wear so that by the time the weather warmed up they will have softened a bit. Now that the early stages will be during warm weather I'm having second thoughts about using the 32oz... As a NYC snob, there are only 2 things I concede that are absolutely SHIT about this city -- the horrid state of disrepair into which the subway system has fallen...and the unbearable humidity of its summers. I know everyone in the tropics are rolling their eyes at that but NYC is a very polluted and crowded city and the summer humidity of the Hudson delta just intensifies the unpleasantness. I HATE NYC during the summers and I don't think I can wear 32oz denim that is still stiff during them. We'll see how motivated I am about this...

  9. How the hell did you run out of the teddy bears already?? I just read the post above (dated 4 days ago!) and when I went to the website it said it was sold out. What did you do? Make 5 of them? That looks like it would make an awesome gift for a nephew of mine. Make more!

  10. Send them off to Denimtherapy to have them repaired and reinforced? :)

As someone who has extensively used both Denim Therapy and Schaeffer's Garment Hotel, I would say that depends on what kind of repair you want done. Denim Therapy does a great job but they are mostly for the True Religion/Diesel crowd who wants their jeans to just look better on the outside. They brag about their "color-matching" technique as if it were the end-all to denim repair, ignoring the fact that some people don't care about restoring the exact color of the surrounding blue (especially when it will continue to fade). Schaeffer's is more for the sufu type person who's concerned about stress reinforcement and what's going on inside. They do this crazy tough patchwork that has some synthetic fibers on the inner surface so that it can stretch while the exposed outer surface is still 100% cotton so that technically the fading can continue. They're like two extremes in my opinion. One isn't necessarily better than the other. Just depends on what you want for your jeans.

  11. yes it's very frustrating to keep seeing the heavy ones posted and talked about but the supposed re-release keeps getting pushed back. If I remember correctly, I've been waiting for these since June! But then at some point it was supposed to be Sept. Well Sept has come and gone and new items have appeared on the site but not the heavy weight model. I love what you're doing yax restocking and expanding your inventory, but I'm holding out for the heavy weights. Already have too many pairs of denim so I'm not going to pull the trigger on just anything. Fingers crossed...

  12. I know I already posted fit pics of the Final Denim Jacket yesterday but today when I randomly tossed it on the floor and saw it stand up by itself I had to post pics again. Here it is standing up at its tallest:

This is hilarious. I always see you guys post pics of your jeans standing straight up and it always amazed me. To the best of my knowledge I've never seen a denim jacket standing straight up though. If it's this stiff, you can imagine how it feels on me. Ha!

  13. i wouldn't really be mad at a dh retread but this is all the filler pieces from every dior collection with nothing good

I was trying to put into words what I thought of the pieces until I came across your post. Exactly! I feel like it's 2005 again. He's picking up right where he left off and it was on a down note compared to the splash he made in his early years at Dior.
