  1. just bought the 13 inch with touch bar. I didn't want the touch pad but low end one has far fewer ports, slower RAM, 2.9 ghz (vs 2.0 ghz).

I've always bought the cheapest mbp but i decided to go with their high end one. it was like 1850 with tax included. lol

  2. There seems to be so many fakes on ebay... usually the price is a giveaway...

HO16 collection up on nike: http://store.nike.com/us/en_us/pw/mens-gyakusou/7puZnm9

I was getting quite 'excited' when I saw the video, it was almost like GIRA of old, especially after that diabolical Rio capsule collection.

Love the "bronzine" c/w (very autumnal leaves falling on a crisp November morning, blue sky, bright low sun shining through the trees) although a shame it didn't make its way to standard shorts.

I also like the use of the chevron/tooth pattern from UC...

However, where are basic long sleeve running tops? Why does the only running tee have a massive logo on the front with GYAKUSOU CREW on it?

I hope there's more basics than this...

are they really fake? i thought it was either the mainland or pinoy resellers who go to the clearance outlets and get a shit ton of gyaku

  3. I bought 2 visitor sims at bic camera, worked real well. Set up was a bitch, i needed to download a couple little bits and in my jet lag brain i struggled. The second one went way smoother. Highly recommended for the peace of mind knowing you can get around and no extra equipment to rely on.

    was it the b-mobile one?

  4. Thanks. I was aware of Tmobile's international coverage. But, I'm not a Tmobile user.

I might get IIJ's sim card because the line quality of bmobile is pretty horrible.

The "Japan" SIM cards available on American Amazon...Any one with experience?

  5. What's the consensus on SIM cards these days?

Last time, I rented a wifi router. It was fast but it was one extra thing that I had to carry.

Before that, I had bmobile's 3gb unlimited (turned out it wasn't actually unlimited. even with casual browsing, you get throttled to like 1kb / sec as soon as you reach their ridiculously low cap, which I think was like 360 mb / 72 hours).

I'm going back for 10 days this time.

*edit* bmobile's cap is now 1gb / 72 hours. hard to say if that's enough.

  6. IG @yk_view had some dope spots posted on his IG

    sorry not an okinawa expert

i'd google the spots he posted to find "cool guy spot" websites from there. Looks like there's a D&D department and a bunch of coolguy coffee shops.

  7. Just learned that the design director for Veilance was Japanese. He's a bunka graduate (e.g. J. Takahashi) and worked for CdG. He was apparently the head designer for Steven Alan and other big American brands. V interesting.

  8. Chelmico — A new soundcloud sensation.

It's like Pizzicato Five meets ripslyme + halcali — pop/electro neo-shibuyakei hip-hop. Lots of potential.

    Their profile is funny: "イケã¦ã‚‹ã‚¬ã‚¤ã‚ºã«å‡ºä¼šã†ãŸã‚ã«éƒ½å†…近郊ã§ãƒ©ãƒƒãƒ—中♡"

  9. If im staying within the central tokyo area, whats the best train pass to get?Suica top up card?

I think the JR counter in Narita has some sort of deal at Narita for tourists. You get a 500 yen preloaded suica wo deposit (I forgot what the deal was — bc im not eligible).

  10. Herp is citrus in Setagaya? Gave it a quick google and that is what came up, but with Japanese stuff never know if googling english, katakana, or kanji is the way to go.

Yeah, it's in middle of nowhere Setagaya. It's actually near Setagaya koen and Mishuku. That's like where Tokyo's real hipsters hang out.
