the term Jap gets a positive meaning here.

Right now I have some 2,300 denim pictures which I collected here over more than a year. I could handle them to you. It would be nice, though, to have a better interface, thumbnails, and that it be easier to upload pics.

Have you ever wondered what's the "selvage" in other areas, in other products, in other clothing items? We are all connoisseurs, I believe, when it comes to denim. There are people who know all about wine, like we about denim, and maybe they know nothing about denim and just wear anything cheap, or even something expensive we would consider no good. So, maybe we know all about denim, but know nothing when it comes to wine, you know what I'm trying to say? Maybe we don't know much about the "selvage" in things other than denim, or do we?
What would you consider "selvage" (or best quality option) in other areas? (loopwheeler-like t-shirts? redmoon-like wallets? etc.)

How/where did you pick them up?

nice... how far from reality though, when it comes to Diesel...

Buzz Rickson? Loopwheeler? I think the hanging knitting machine (loopwheeler) is by no means exclusive to the brand Loopwheeler. Other brands use it too. The same goes for the "flat seams" or whatever it's called. Both of these are very desirable. Full Count uses, in adition to the seams and the machine, long staple Zimbabwean cotton, picked only once a year as in the vintage time in US.

full count has got 3 cuts of women jeans with the same details as the mens. (selvage, copper rivets, etc.)

Shrinking them in the tub whilst wearing could eventually get the waist even bigger than it is now. I suggest you do it.

well, it depends if they're talking about indigo molecule per se or the indigo plants

It says indigo plant, but can the properties be considered the same when it is synthetic indigo? I think the plant indigo can also repel insects, but I wonder if the synthetic has the same effect?

To some people it (raw denim) may be a trend, especially because it is not the kind of thing the average buyer likes, but I figure to others (us) it is not like a trend. It could be against the trend and I would still wear it for other reasons. If lots of people need to wash their jeans all the time, let them do it to raw denim, at least it's more interesting to see.

I think this exact same quote has been commented here before. There's a bit of truth in what it says, that you shouldn't baby your jeans too much and just wash them when you want. Most top-notch jeans can stand several washes without losing their dark appearance.

I think they look good in a vintage way

Don't worry, a single wash is going to do no harm.

if they do like the raw it will probably be for what it is, not for what it may become in months/years. think "luster" of raw denim

Full Count 0110
Samurai Geisha, also, is one of the few womens jeans that is complete with hidden rivets and all original details.

what are the most comfortable shoes/sneakers you ever worn, judging on comfort alone, being included in confort the overall feel such as lightness and support etc. ?
- mine I think are Diesel sneakers, and I have no experience (shoes) beyond sneakers.

AFAIK the tighter it is, the faster it wears. Anyway the tighter it is the more stress there is?

Starching = bad

IMO no starch is better, my jeans developped semi-rips on the back-knee creases which I starched. Also, I now prefer the more natural looking effect of just normal wear without special effects (starch and super contrast). If you wear them hard they will get creased anyway. Starch feels like sandpaper to me.
