Are you sure the ones you saw where selvedge?

I have a pair of Diesel that had that "will shrink, buy a bigger size" tag on them, and like you describe they have a very wide leg and are raw denim. But they are not selvedge.

The name of the model is Ranan and the "wash" is called 83D.

Weren't they specifically made just to become fashionable so he could make 350$ a pair? I don't get how people would like them so much, the two models I have seen has been so horrible that Energie jeans could even beat them.

I really don't care why they were made. I just think they look real nice, and I really like how they fit.

The highest i have paid is about 350 USD for my pair of recently bought Ijin Material.

How do I identify selvedge denim? I just bought me a pair of IJIN Material, and they are really really nice (in my opinion atleast), but I dont know, if they are selvedge or not.

They are quite simular in fabric to my Evisu's and also a bit to my Yen's... But im not sure if they are selvedge (I'm a denim-rookie).
