  1. At the end of the day it's just clothes. The last few fits posted up aren't even bad and sawnoffchefs is def junya worn right.

It doesn't matter if its gothninj, techninj, #menswear, denim bro, or fob wear it comes down to how you wear it. Some people are always going to look foolish when they chase trends or buy clothes that don't reflect or suit who they are. #menswear just happens to be the flavor of the moment.

motherfuckers just need to be themselves. At the end of the day if you post waywts or are street photographed there's always gonna be haters (justified or not) and dus need to not get so butthurt

  2. My problem with #menswear, is that it is helping drive brands to make more safe and saleable clothing. I'm not placing any value judgement on the clothes as I do think they work on some people and are in many cases well made. But should they be given the same acclaim as other more daring designers?

From the angle of placing menswear in a greater context of fashion I don't see anything particularly innovative or creative coming from that camp. I've had to mentally separate men's fashion from #menswear in my mind. I try to support the brands, designers and products that have a message, that stand for something. While I keep in mind what's wearable and what I can pull off, I think it's important to support great design with a message and an ethos. They are usually the ones who need the money and the support, so I choose to vote with my dollar with that in mind.

It is also a reflective of a greater problem in fashion in general which is the lack of critique and reflection in the industry right now

  3. UOJs official motto is ‘verum et jawnz plumbum ad deum' - ’Truth and Jawnz Lead to God.â€

And Julez yes. UOJ believes that all people (men and women) should be able to pursue knowledge of jawnz and apply the lessons to their real life.

Ask not if UOJ is too real for real life, but are you real enough for UOJ?

  4. I mean Kanye can do whatever the fuck he wants. He's rich as fuck and dresses better than most popular musicians period.

I agree it's not even a bad fit. Just dresing by a checklist is whack.
