    and why is this? (noise?)

glad you think it is the tightest city you have lived/been to in your long list of world cities in your rolodex of places you have visited. that is truely great.

and now i too think it is the tightest city on earth after reading a couple more brochures about it.

let us try not to resort to name calling in the future though yes?

am i correct to infer that you are an american? because you seem to have missed all of the sarcasm in this thread icon_smile.gif

I think it is funny that Nike is actually calling them skate shoes now. Back 6-7 years ago when I lived in Norfolk, VA, most of the kids I skated with (myself included), wore AF1's (or DC's as we called them) and Dunks to skate in.

So, wearing Nikes to skate in is nothing new to me, but it's amusing to see how long it took Nike to realize that kids were skating in them and not playing basketball in them.

it didnt take them that long to realize people were skating in them and not playing basketball, they had to do their research to see whether or not it would be profitable for them.

  4. i do plan on going there probably sometime next fall after my enviornmental science coursework in beijing is completed.

yes, it is true. i am new to superfuture and therefore must be new to the internet thus making me void of oppinion.

troop- you were wondering how 'the fuck' someone can know anything about something without experienceing it firsthand? well the truth is you probably can not know everything but thorugh 'guides' articles stories and talking with other people you can have some kind of idea of what you're in for. however this is not the case here. if you are still a bit confused you can fuck off back to fuk and i'll explain in more detail.

  5. as i am liring about watching videos from the 70s and sixties, but it makes for a nice story. (and is accurate and relevant)

and if i could be the semantic once more here they did not popularise it!

you could argue that they introduced it to a different demographic but that is all.

    ok then good day

Rage Against the Machine started it when I was in 7th grade.

They've had Che shirts in fucking Gadzooks since '95 at least.

Was it rage against the machine that started back when you were in junior highschool?

because i was thinking there were a few people in the sixties with them.

and then from viewing old tapes people in the seventies had them.

and now looking back on my photos from my birthday as a young child (eighties) people are pictured wearing them too. but i guess you are right in saying that a fuckface band in the nineties started it all. i see it now it all is making sense.

i think i must now educate you on some noise if you think it is screamo hehe.

he/she was asking what i ment by noise and i just explained. i did not say i lam listening to it, just pointed out that on this mainly japanese interest board i would have thought there to be at least a few people that were on to noise being japan the noise capital...... that is all really. no need for me to try and prove my cool over the net. that was not the case.

(your cue to drop some more names)
