First of all, if it was about looking out for your fellow man, then communism should have worked? But it never does, why? Because of human nature always rule and that's greed, doesn't matter how much you have of something you always want more.
My car was 400k USD, could it have been put to better use? Probably helping people in some far off country develop this and that. Do I deserve the car? I can say definately NO I don't deserve it. Why do I think this way? It is because I'm 23, still a student (med student so don't hate I am doing my part in this world) and to you guys who think though I live this life, I have never worked a real job in my life ( I worked my ass off for my dad's company (shipping/trucking), without anyone knowing who I was for 2 summers, loading/unloading trucks, trains, containers by hand for the first summer because I was a newbie, and finally a forklift for the 2nd. Hardly a white collar job, but I've experienced from the very bottom of a company). Am I fortunate for what I have? I unlike most of my peers know I am truely fortunate to be born into the "right" family by definitions of materialism.
And to repeat I am not American, and I hope that day comes soon when US is not the super power any longer.
haha, you worked for your dad for two summers.

i love how whenever anyone says anything on a message board it is immediately crowned moot by mentioning if they really needed to spend five minutes doing it.
the only thing more disgusting than whatever carl's talking about is the amount of TIME we waste. money isn't even real.

i checked out the new tees today at nomad and i must say the quality seems REALLY low. every tee i picked up had threads sticking out of the seams. they also didn't feel as thick, but that could all be in my head.

i, a 5'11 skinny guy, prefer the fit of the american apparel hoodies to the h&m. i find the h&m's are either too big in the body or too weird in the sleeves. the american apparel have the right level of slim/snug in the body and i find the sleeves are long enough, but don't droop.
best best is to just try on.

that black 'performance fleece' hoody thing is straight out of old navy.

Look, if I'm not feeling a look or presentation, I'm gonna call you out. This thread is meant to help with people's style and lately it feels like one big circle-jerk of e-props. Just because she's a woman doesn't mean she's above critcism. You're more than welcome to post your fits and comment on mine. Peace.
anything remotely negative is deleted because everyone's a crybaby.

I'm a huge LW fan, and while I wouldn't buy it (if it was given to me it would be my crown jewel, however), I'm kind of disappointed with a lot of the comments regarding the minimalism and lack of logos. If you're into name recognition you probably shouldn't even be looking at Loopwheeler.
i think the people who are unwilling to pay 1000 dollars for a hoody are going 'i wouldn't pay 1000 dollars for something that doesn't even say 'i spent 1000 dollars on this' and the people who would spend 1000 dollars on it are going 'wow, what a steal! this other thing is way more'
ultimately i don't think anyone cares what it looks like.
i just want to know where you can get an american apparel hoody for 20 bucks.

i mean, ultimately i understand why you like them and you've explained that you like them...but i think those looks terrible. style/fashion aside, i just don't think they look good, regardless of what 'look' you're going for.
no comment on the hair.

yeah yeah, i know where to find the stuff, it was just jarring to see it in what i thought was a fauxtique.

lounge and otis got alife apperal.
as for the shoes, are they really cheap there or something, because you can get them at a ton of places and be sure they are legit... i dont think people would fake them anyway.
they aren't really cheap, but i was certain their bape stuff was phoney. they also carry 10deep, artful dodger and nike, but it strikes me as such a sketchy spot it's hard to believe the stuff would be legit.

i know it's not really on yonge, but whatever.
i work around there, so when i turn the corner to go to world's biggest bookstore i sort of snicker in the window at the fake bapes...but the other day i went in to kill some time and saw that they had, like, 5 or 6 different varieties of alife sneakers. aside from the lrg stuff, i was pretty certain all of the junk in there was fake (they had bape 'roadsta's before they were even released).
do they have fake alife shoes? i didn't even think anyone would care enough to make fake alife.

I'll check Eaton Centre for you tomorrow but if I remember correctly, you work right near there so I'm assuming you checked EC already?

that's kind of a lame point and a stupid thing to say. the question he's asking is (more or less) whether or not there's a co-relation between the supposed dip in quality (i can say myself that i've seen a lot of threads and seems sticking out on the tee shirts) and their seemingly more aggressive business strategies.
whether anyone wants to judge or not, i'm gonna go ahead and say that, while this last season has had some great pieces and VERY interesting collabs (the timberlands especially), it seems like the 'key' pieces (tee shirts, for instance) seem to be lacking both originality and quality.
