That's gonna be too small. I had my 710 geishas tapered to a 7.25" opening and i've ruined them. I am a pretty big guy tho and they hub my legs way too much now

I'd cuff them with the original hem, my 710 19oz pair is perfect with a bit of a hem only and a large cuff that floats off my feet

cool. appreciate the insight. got a fit pic, by chance? saw the pic of them lying flat a couple pages back. nice work.

  3. howdy. looking for a little advice, please.

i just picked up a pair of s710's in size 35. previous owner did one initial hot soak and then one cold wash/hang dry a bit later. don't think he wore them much as there is virtually no signs of wear, and tons of indigo left, and i know these fade relatively quickly.

as many have already pointed out, they're a little baggier than i'd like from the knee down. my question is this: if i get them tapered from the knee down. how small can i go on the leg opening without ruining the silhouette of the jean and still get the semi-slim look i'm after? (i was thinking a 7" opening) i've seen some horribly dramatic tapers from the knee down that i'd love to avoid.

then there's the age-old question of whether to hem or leave the length as is. i'm not much of a stacker...

    thanks in advance!

  4. Thick, tough, and soft.

    No longer available via BIG.

This has been worn twice and i would say it's in flawless condition. Still every bit worthy of its $265 price tag. Yours for much less.

    size XL

    shoulder to shoulder - 22"
    collar to bottom - 25"
    sleeve - 25"
    armpit to armpit: 25.5"

    $150 + $12 shipping in U.S.

  5. Looking to trade my black rrl low straights for a pair of black slim fits. they're new with tags. they're rare because the low straight is a cut that everyone seems to love and they're no longer producing them in black, so get em while you can if you like. mine are 33x32, i'm looking for 33 or 34 waist. flexible on length. lemme know. pm for pics, but they're everything you hope they'll be: new, with tags, with a rrl bag, perfect conditions, and crispy.

    thanks for looking

  6. ETERNALS

never worn. these are slightly small on me now so i'm letting them go. open to trade offers for denim of similar quality and craft. $160, shipped in the U.S. only.

    thigh: 12.5â€

Using spended weft dyes from Kurashiki Kojima in Okayama Prefecture, we present Eternal's long awaited jeans. This is a 14.5oz Eternal standard model that uses original denim. Traditional looms are used to weave the cotton threads together, the cloth woven with soft tension produces a special roughness and bumpy texture. You can enjoy the three dimentional fade from the bumpy texture as you wear them. The cut is Eternal's original straight legs which has a slightly tight impression. The cloth is dyed dark so that at one glance it appears to be black, once the denims are worn to a long time they begin to fade into its true color scheme.

This material is Samurai Jean's toughest yet. Introducing Samurai Jeans S0500XX 15 oz Otokogi Straight. To make these, only American Texas Cotton was used which is known for its roughness and gives the thread rough bumpiness. The thread is twisted tightly which makes the material twice as hard. The thread was woven together at a thread count of 6 by 6. The limited deepness coloring used to dye the outsde of the fibers pure indigo without penetrating the core so fading will occure easily with wear. Unlike the other models, this pair was woven together with strong tension and to date has driven in the most tension around the waist. When you try on these denims, the strength around the waist will increase. Weighing on 15.6 oz, these tough denims are made for Samurai original denim die-hard fans. The Selvedge portion is called 「刀耳〠Seven Ears. These denims are easy to wear and around the hip and waist are balanced without being too tight above the thigh then are tapered towards the hem. This sillhouette is narrower than the S0510XX・S3000VX and a bit wider than the S5000VX・S0110XJ.

  7. what's up, gents. due to a sizing snafu, i have a couple pairs of older sams that have just been sitting in my closet - i believe they're lot 8 or lot 10, have to look... they have some wear, but both are in amazing shape with tons of indigo left. no rips, tears, blowouts, etc.

    i have a 0500 in size 34 and a 710 in 34.

i need one size up in each. thought i'd check to see if anybody else had sizing mess ups and wants to trade. open to other brands, but i prefer to stick to sam. pm me and i can send pics, if you're interested.

  8. Great condition. These are just a bit too small. Tagged a size M, but they measure 34 in the waist, with a 33" inseam and a 9" leg opening.

I'm looking to trade for workwear in the same ballpark or a pair of moccasins around a size 10.5/11. pm with trade offers.

If you're interested in buying, i'm asking $120 via paypal, plus $8 tracked shipping in the continental u.s.

  9. Up for trade/sale is a RRL Slim-fit western shirt crafted from Japanese selvedge denim in size medium. It's triple-needle chain-stitched throughout for added durability. And it's finished with custom Japanese-made high-rimmed snaps. Unfortunately, it's a bit small for me. One thing to note: it has a professionally mended hole just to the left of the right breast pocket. i don't think it was factory distressing, but the quality of the job is on par with the distressing RRL does in-house. I'm looking to trade for the same shirt in a size large, or I will sell it for $80 + $6 shipping in the continental U.S.

  10. A favorite of the Nepenthes’ friends and family, these cotton herringbone fatigues can withstand the rigors of everyday use much like denim. And as with denim, they look even better as they break in over time. Pair them with anything from a T-shirt to an unstructured blazer to an oxford cloth button-down.

-The Staff of Nepenthes New York

these are barely worn. nice details, including melamine buttons and button fly. size m. $90 shipped anywhere in the u.s.

    17 1/2" waist

    33 " inseam

    9" leg opening

    12 3/4" front rise
