    ugh, is this ever gonna happen? i think i might just get my own loopwheeler shirts and silkscreen them myself....

    superfuturoids. just an update......

    we are finally setting up a superfuture online shop so we can actually have a way to sell these... FYI------> i think we still have about 20? of the original 100-off run of loopwheeler superfuture t-s left... once we get the shop operational we will put them on...!

    we are well aware of the situation. superfuture have also explained this to the advertisers media agency from the day the campaign started. a lighter ad was requested but this request has not been responded to. anyway we will try again...

    2 issues here...

    1. technical/

    based on the comments in that first thread - the ad is possibly causing some users to not be able to view supertalk properly...if you are having problems with the functioning of supertalk then please post some specific info here about your /computer/browser/operating system so we can then pass the information back to the advertisers media agency. i'm sure they would value this feedback too.

    its working fine on our computers...

    like any internet advertising - you can choose not to click on it... but we're not about to lose an advertiser that is indirectly going to help fund the reconstruction of this website because someone on supertalk doesn't like the PANTONE color of their ad. READ: any such negative posts are going to be deleted. of course if you decide to write slurpingly positive comments on the ads we will be happy to keep them posted.

    the minute i reconnected supertalk 81 anonymous users and 5 registered users were already online...

    were people actually checking supertalk every minute for the past 12 days!!! come on... own up.

    PRIORITY 1... was to get supertalk back up and running asap since all the moderators missed you so much

    PRIORITY 2... the improvements are coming next with a new messageboard system

    ok...seems like a few torontoroids lurking around in supermaps...

    so............

    from this point we can actually start working on the more detailed area maps though we dont yet have a dedicated correspondent living in toronto to help us with this ... but maybe we can do this via supertalk?!

    FIRST ---

    can anyone suggest the most important AREAS to map out-- [think 1km x1km square] and if you can give extent of these areas-- approx. north south east west we can get this going.....

    [as usual-- all help will be credited on the area maps!]

    superfuture has its own opinions about religion and politics but it doesnt post them on supertalk cos its not relevant to the purpose of this website - which incidently, happens to be superficial fluff like shopping and travel.

    should be the same for everyone else.

    • Even though this is trash, significantly offensive personal attacks or harrasment are not tolerated. this also includes any racial slurs/ or homophobic comments.

    • please avoid posting pornographic images and any disturbing or offensive content, especially without a warning because theres a chance people read the forum at work or in public places.

    • Using alternate accounts to talk trash is not tolerated, if you cant say something with your own name under it, keep it to yourself. Multiple registrations are automatically detected.

    GENERAL INFORMATION

    infractions

    infractions are warnings given to users for illicit behaviour, this can include anything that violates the above guidelines. Discussing or complaining about infractions in public is not advisable and will result in posts being removed, if you have a problem, contact the administration.

    banning

    infractions include points, gathering up more than 15 points will automatically get a user banned for a month. however, in certain cases it can be seen necessary to ban a user regardless of infraction points, but only in very extreme cases without a warning.

    prior behaviour on supertalk, reaction to infranctions and ability to co-operate are taken into account when making a decision on banning.

    reporting posts

    the report function (exlamation mark on the left) can be used to report a rule breaking post to moderators. the report function is not be abused, any 'funny' or pointless reports will result in an infraction.
